About Donna Bise
I have been a Realtor in the Abingdon, Washington county area since 1991. Have always enjoyed seeing the before and after when renovating old structures. This particular property, Maple Spring Inn is special to me. The property was originally an 80 acre parcel which my grandparents purchased in 1942. At this point the Maple Spring Inn is located on a 21 acre parcel of the original farm. After seeing the house sit empty and uncared for for over 20 years I decided to renovate. And what a renovation it was. With an exceptional team of contractors it took about two years to complete the renovations. The after results are stunning. Come see for yourself!

Sit on the porch long enough and you are sure to enjoy the abundant wildlife and array of colorful birds.

Donna could not have been more attentive! She sent a text message to make sure everything was fine, and responded quickly to our communications to her. I highly recommend this place!
Some houses look beautiful but you can’t relax because you are afraid you will disturb the loveliness. Not this house. You feel at home the minute you open the door. It was a wonderful, relaxing and fun time!
Lovely place and owner!
Great and peaceful
We loved the farmhouse.
Here for the Bristol Race
Lovely place with a welcoming front porch for conversation. The home has been nicely restored and beautifully done. We had everything we needed. The owner was very pleasant to deal with. The countryside was beautiful, and the location very peaceful and relaxing. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you Donna!!
A little bit of heaven in the country....
We recently stayed at Maple Springs Inn with family and had the best time. The house and grounds are immaculate and offer such a warm and relaxing stay. It's close enough to Abingdon to be able to pop over for dinner, ride the Creeper Trail, or shop in town. But then you get to return to your magical country Inn where you'll be serenaded by the friendly tree frogs and wake to the mooing of neighboring cows. We will definitely be back!
WI-FI!!! The structure currently used as The Maple Spring is part of the original Washington County Virginia 'Poor farm'. The stucture currently used as the Inn was once used as the caretaker house for the Poor Farm. To this day through out the property hand made bricks can be discovered from some of the many cottages once on the property which provided housing for the poor.
