Why Mark Nobles chose Junction City
I bought the place in 2002. A fire destroyed the original house. The new house was built in 2011. Basically I purchased the place because I got tired of sleeping in campgrounds when I came up to fish during salmon season. In the winter it gets very cold. Waking up cold in a campground lost its appeal!. I miss the old place and now that I have the new place I want to share it with others.
What makes this Cabin unique
I enjoy the peace, friendly neighbors; clear nights and just cooking outside while entertaining family and friends. The fishing season can be great.

Very clean, spacious, and comfortable with all the conveniences of home, and great decks!
This was my first visit to the Weaverville area, but I will be returning regularly as one of my sons now lives there. I will also be a regular at Mark's cabin. It was so very comfortable and spacious. I was there with all four of my kids and one of the days we had a bar-b-que with many of my son's friends. We were very comfortable and the cabin had everything we needed. I highly recommend it!
super cabine ! excellent pour se ressourcer

Mark nous a fourni un descriptif detaille pour rejoindre la maison et des chose a faire aux alentours. tres appreciable !
Pretty Great with a few exceptions
This is an amazing house! I love the floor plan and the kitchen is everything I've ever wanted in a house. It was easy to find, quiet and very comfortable. However, we arrived to a semi-vacuumed floor, old bacon still in the Microwave, only one of four beds made (comforter and pillows only-no sheets) and a thick layer of dust on everything. I also found a load of dried sheets in the washer that I literally had to peel off the walls before rewashing and drying. While we found it the perfect getaway, we definitely left the house a lot cleaner than when we found it. I would also like to give thanks to the owner for his scheduling flexibility when road conditions kept us from getting there in April. We will definitely consider this house for future vacations but will be prepared to do some light dusting before we can settle in.
Delightful Woodland Retreat!!
First timers, not knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised. Cabin had plenty of space for all 7 of us, included 77 year old active grandma! Enjoyed having coffee and a bagel on the rear deck every morning, actually had the privilege of seeing a dear pass through the property one morning. Kitchen was fully stocked with plates, pots, pans, coffee machines, everything you use at home for daily living. Having 3 kids and spending lots of time at the river produces lots of dirty clothes but it was a breeze because I was able to do my laundry at the cabin. We had dinner together every night which was wonderful because when we vacation at hotels you tend to eat out a lot which can be very expensive. Also, hotel continental breakfasts are during certain hours, at the cabin, after a long night playing games and just enjoying family time, it did not matter what time we woke up, we were able to have our coffee and bagel at our time! Trust me, our family has done it all, camping in tents, hotels, motels, rv's....this has it all beat!!! You want a real restful vacation away from the crazy city life, looking for peace or a place to unwind.....look no further...you have just stumbled on to a little peace of heaven!
Nice, clean, private cabin
I really enjoyed my stay at the cabin. It's really more of a house. It's nicely decorated and all appliances and amenities are tastefully done. There's a nice deck to sit on in the evening and watch the stars. I meet Mark, the owner, and he's a really nice man. I had a great time and will be returning soon.
This was the second time I stayed at "The Cabin in the Woods" and I plan on coming back a couple times a year. The house is absolutely lovely and has everything you need for the perfect vacation. I grew up in Trinity County and there is nothing better than coming home. The last trip was over the 4th of July and we had 10 people ranging from 2 years-old up to 78 years-old and everyone was comfortable and happy in the cabin. It is a short 10 minutes into Weaverville and 10 minutes to Halena (our favorite swimming hole). I got the pleasure of meeting Mark the owner and am thankful he is willing to share his home. I would recommend this to all my friends and family and hope you will enjoy this beautiful spot in the future.
