About Casey & Caroline

When we are home we collect antiques with my parents who are collectors and restorers. We've added a few pieces to make our home more welcoming for you!

We love the friendly atmosphere in Paso Robles and appreciate our local activities in our downtown park.

Nothing beats a wonderful bike ride out on our country roads or a kayak paddle in the estuary in Morro Bay.

Enjoy everything Paso Robles has to offer. Discover the unique history of Paso Robles and learn about our Salinas River which runs South to North!

Why Casey & Caroline chose Central Coast

We have always loved living on the Westside of Paso Robles.

We have tree lined streets and charming homes which reveal the history of Paso Robles in its architecture and town layout.

We built our Treetop Cottage in 2010 - just behind our main home creating a hidden cottage.

We created a peaceful retreat for those times when we come home to see family and friends.

Enjoy exploring Paso Robles as we have for over twenty years!

What makes this cottage unique

Treetop Cottage provides comfort humbled by nature.

Unstoppable views - of telephone wires!

  • 2 of 5

The inside was great - everything new and well appointed. But "unstoppable views"? More like views of some kind of construction going on next door and telephone wires. We were so looking forward to sitting on the porch, having a glass of wine looking at - if not "unstoppable" - an enjoyable view. Instead, it looked a little like a junk yard in the back with some kind of broken down structure and discarded litter with lots of telephone wires running above. The treetops block out what could have been a view in the distance. Really - "unstoppable views" is a misrepresentation and unfortunately overshadowed the experience.

Owner's Response: Hello, We are very sorry to hear that the views at Treetop Cottage were not what you had envisioned. We strive to make sure that all of our guests have the best experience possible during their stay in Paso Robles. That is why when you asked if there were vineyard views, we explained that the home looks over the town of Paso Robles and necessarily vineyards. But the views also go for miles beyond Paso which is why we call them unstoppable and highlight them in our property photos. Our business runs highly on customer reviews and we are sure you noticed before booking that we have nearly all 5 star reviews in which the majority of them mention how much they loved the views from cottage. In fact we only have one other review under 5 stars in which someone gave the home 4 stars. We feel that a 2 star rating is a bit harsh and we hope it does not deter other folks from staying with us in the future. We hope they will see that nearly everyone that has stayed with us has enjoyed the home and the views. Again we apologize that the views did not meet your expectations and hope that if you ever travel to Paso again, you find somewhere that has exactly the views you are looking for.

Hillside Retreat

  • 5 of 5

What a great place! Beautiful views from the deck, quiet and private space tucked in the hillside above Paso Robles. We were attending an event at the County Fairgrounds and found this to be easily walkable to our event and downtown Paso. The cottage is newer construction and tastefully furnished. Everything you would need for a weekend away is provided (cooking utensils, plates, silverware, etc.). The amazing part is how reasonably priced it is compared to hotel and motel lodging around town ($50 less than staying at the La Quinta). Craig the owner met us there and was very gracious. Highly recommended!

Great place!

  • 5 of 5

My girlfriend and I were extremely pleased with this rental. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our short vacation. It's also incredibly well-located (we walked downtown a couple of times). Casey and Caroline were very nice and responsive when we had a question. I'd definitely recommend it and I'd certainly stay here again.
