This unit was completely remodeled in July 2010 after we purchased it. There is ceramic tile flooring and plantation shutters throughout. Extensive molding and custom upgraded furnishings abound as well.
The complex itself is gated for additional privacy and features covered parking, an elevator, a gas grill and a swimming pool. This unit also provides a private, outdoor storage closet that is lockable and allows guests to store beach and pool items that they may not want to carry to and store in the actual unit.
The living room is very spacious and has panoramic ocean views and direct access to the deck via a sliding glass door. It is furnished with a queen sleeper sofa, a loveseat, an oversized chair and ottoman and an accent chair which offers plenty of seating space. For your entertainment, it also comes furnished with a brand new 46' Sony HD Flat Screen TV, a brand new Sony 1080p Upscaling DVD player, a Direct TV HD satellite receiver and surround sound system. Also for your entertainment, we have provided a Nintendo Wii with 1 controller and 2 games included. Please feel free to bring your games and any additional controllers to further enhance your enjoyment of this gaming station. Finally for your listening pleasure, there is a stereo tuner, CD player and IPOD docking station that connects to a receiver and an amplifier that can be used to play your favorite music in any room in the house. All living room electronics are operated by a simple to use universal remote.
The kitchen has upgraded stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and it is ready for the gourmet cook, fully equipped with everything you need should you choose to eat in. The dining room comfortably seats 6 around the table and provides additional seating for 4 at the kitchen bar. Both the kitchen and the dining room offer an ocean view as well.
The utility room adjacent to the kitchen features a brand new full size GE washer and dryer.
There is brand new, heavy duty, patio furniture on the large oceanfront deck which can be used for lounging or for oceanfront dining. The deck itself is very large and overlooks both the pool and the ocean.
The master bedroom is furnished with a brand new king size bed featuring the Westin Heavenly Bed Mattresses for your comfort. For your entertainment, it also comes furnished with a brand new 40'' Sony HD Flat Screen TV, a brand new Sony 1080p Upscaling DVD player and a Direct TV HD satellite receiver. Attached to this room is a large master bath with dual vanities, a jetted garden tub and a separate walk-in shower.
The 2nd bedroom is furnished with a brand new queen size bed featuring the Westin Heavenly Bed Mattresses for your comfort. For your entertainment, it also comes furnished with a brand new 32'' Sony HD Flat Screen TV, a brand new Sony 1080p Upscaling DVD player and a DirectTV HD satellite receiver. Attached to this room is a bath with a shower/tub combination.

We are a young family of 5 that lives in Charlotte, North Carolina. My wife and I have always loved spending time at the beach, specifically the Isle of Palms. Luckily for us, our 11 year old daughter, 8 year old son and 5 year old daughter love it too.

Our family loves the Charleston area, specifically the Downtown or 'Front Beach' area of the Isle of Palms. We started vacationing here in 1998 and have been back every year since. It is an easy 3 hour drive from our home in Charlotte. When we decided to look for a 2nd home/investment property, Dunescape was the newest condo complex available and had everything we were looking for. We purchased our first unit (VRBO #317081) in 2010 and it was so successful that we purchased another unit (VRBO #506132) in 2013.

Dunescape is a beautiful development in a great location! Thanks for sharing your beautiful place with our family! We made tons of wonderful memories! We're planning another big family vacation for next year with my husband's family this time and if we opt again for a group of condos over a house -- you guys are at the top of our list!
While, I didn't stay in your specific unit, I was in and out of all the Dunescape units over the course of our week-long stay. I must say your unit was the nicest and seemed to be the cleanest of all of them. We've stayed at numerous places in IOP over the past 5 years and your place was probably the nicest to date. Lots of nice details, high end additions and the decor was really beautiful. We really liked how updated your unit was ... it felt like it was brand new. I know these places take a beating with people coming in and out with wet bathing suits, sand, and just the sheer volume of traffic. However, yours still had that new feeling and look. The other units in Dunescape were definitely nice but some were starting to show some wear and tear. Nothing to complain about -- but your place really stood out.
Thanks for everything. Our experience dealing with you has been wonderful. I'm sure we'll cross paths again in the near future. And next time -- I'm renting your unit.
This was our 2nd time at staying at this condo. It's as described. The decor is fabulous, love the paintings. The view is amazing from all angles. Had necessary toiletries for our stay (shampoo, conditioner, shower soap, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, etc....) I was a little concerned with staying over St. Pattys night, the condo is next to a restaurant and they were having a band that evening. I heard nothing inside the condo. :) Took some amazing sunrise photo's a couple of mornings. There's restaurants in walking distance from the condo. Owner is very easy to work with and very accommodating. We will definitely stay again!
This is a lovely condo, the location and layout are great. Nice big deck. Furnishings and bedding are high quality and comfortable. Kitchen was great for cooking, we even had extended family over for dinner. The owner is easy to work with, and let us check out late as there was no one renting immediately after us. One note, there is a bar next door with occasional live music, however we rather enjoyed that when we were on the deck, it didn't bother us inside. Was fun to watch the sand volleyball from the deck.
Eric had us well prepared for our visit. The instructions for parking, entry to the unit and departing procedures were very clear. The unit is very clean and in a great location. We will definitely use this condo again.
The place was beautiful. It had everything I needed to have a great time - Sand, sun, the sound of the ocean & great food nearby.

The condo was awesome, and you can't beat the location and views, but there is a very loud nightclub right next door. Three of the 7 nights the music played past 1:00AM and we couldn't drown it out, no matter what we tried! The condo is very well kept and is nicely furnished. The kitchen is well stocked. We appreciated everything about the condo, just wish we could have relaxed without all the loud music and noise next door. Perhaps it was just the time of the year we stayed.
Isle of Palms, Isle of Palms, Charleston Area, South Carolina, USA -- This is a beautiful third floor (top floor) corner unit located in the Downtown or 'Front Beach' area on the Isle of Palms. The Dunescape complex is the newest condominium building on the Isle of Palms and is a very short walk to restaurants and shopping. We are located next door to the Windjammer Beach Club.
