2016 Weeks of 8/13 - 8/20 and /20 - 8/27 just opened up!

One of the few remaining authentic 1930's-era log cottages on the Pemaquid peninsula. From its scenic location near the tip of Pemaquid Point, on a quiet dirt road that winds along the shoreline where the ocean meets John's Bay, it is a one-minute walk to seashore access. An easy, slightly longer stroll takes one to photogenic and commanding Pemaquid Point Lighthouse (restaurant, shop and gallery on site). The area is ideal for lobster cookouts, tidepool explorations, walking, cycling, etc. The uniquely crafted cottage itself features a native-stone fireplace and open rafter ceilings. Main building includes bathroom with claw-foot tub/shower and a bedroom sleeping two. A separate semi-attached wing, 'The Doll House,' has two twin beds, shelves stocked with children's books and games. Short drive to: waterfront dining; sandy Pemaquid Beach; Colonial Pemaquid site; boat cruises. Visits to nearby Damariscotta, Boothbay Harbor, Camden are always fun!

It is a bit farther to countless restaurants, shops, museums and vacation activities. (A pleasant drive takes one to fun, bustling Boothbay Harbor with its wide array of boutiques, eateries and entertainment.)

Activities: Located within walking distance of Pemaquid Point Lighthouse. Short drive to: Pemaquid Beach; Pemaquid Harbor (with a restaurant and also a lobster shack with picnic tables overlooking this lovely little harbor from a hill high above); the Hardy Boat shoreline tours/Monhegan Island day trips; Colonial Pemaquid with Fort William Henry; etc.
