About Judi Roberts

We both grew up in the Tampa Bay area and spent many summers and vacations at the beach with family and friends. We had so many special memories, we always wanted a place of our own on the beach. Belleair Beach was our choice. The first time we walked through the door of this charming beach house we fell in love with it. The view of the gulf was breathtaking.

Judi Roberts purchased this house in 1999

Why Judi Roberts chose Belleair Beach

Belleair Beach is one of the most beautiful on Florida's Gulf Coast. It is a quiet, safe, prestigious, residential beach town, essentially unspoiled by commercialism (no high rises are allowed), only estate homes and two and three story structures. Our two story stilt home is as high as you can go in Belleair and our views are spectacular! If you want to spend a day at a crowded, 'people watch' beach you can drive a few minutes north to Clearwater Beach for the day.

What makes this house unique

The only thing between us and the gulf is a short walk through the sea oat covered dune and a few feet of sand to the water's edge. Enjoy an early morning or evening walk along the beach. If you walk south you will see magnificent estate homes (you might even spot a celebrity). Walk north to Sand Key, a land of commerce and overzealous high rise development but at the north end is a sliver of sanity amid the madness. Sand Key Park is a 95 acre oasis of calm. It is popular with day trippers, surfers, skim boarders, and fishermen. The long wide sandy beach is a big draw and the facilities are excellent.

The house was just what we were hoping for. Very nicely decorated and such a short walk to the beach. Owner was very easy to work with. Would definitely rent again.

St. Pete area beachfront refuge!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! It is a week at the beach we will long remember for: the beautiful house - just as it is shown, the wonderful beach such that we could listen to the lapping waves at night, great week to be there because for the 4th of July there were fireworks we could see to the north and to the south and joyful people walking on the beach. The owners are very accessible and responsive and do leave items that you may need but which are not so convenient to travel with. There was a mechanical problem at the house but it was promptly fixed so we could enjoy the week. For their peace of mind, the owners may want t o mention in their house info the outlet that controls the TV system. The stairs did start to get to our knees after the week and yet, the house levels is what gives great balconies and views! It is a house with great owners and such a wonderful experience! Much appreciated!

What a View!

  • 5 of 5

We spent the last week at this beautiful beach house. We came from KC hoping to not have to bring much as far as beach gear is concerned. They had everything we could need to have an enjoyable stay. Beach chairs, towels, sand toys & umbrellas. They kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook meals, the living room furniture accommodated our family of 5 well. The beds were all very comfortable and the views were just amazing. We saw dolphins multiple times per day, star gazed from the master balcony and enjoyed being a few short steps from the beach. We had one on crutches, so the proximity to the water was a concern for us. No need to worry bc we were close enough she didn't have to do much crutching in the sand. The beach was quiet and not over crowded like some of the surrounding beaches. We found a ton of great shells and the water was warm and calm. Fairly shallow for a ways out. Clearwater Beach is about 5-10 min the road and Pass-a-Grille about 20 min south. 5+ star stay. We can't wait to come back!

Excellent accommodations and location

My family enjoyed the week at this beautiful beachfront home. Steps to beach with everything we needed to have a relaxing vacation. Having the grill and picnic tables were a plus to have our dinners looking at the sunset.

Great place to stay for adults and small kids!

  • 5 of 5

This home was a very comfortable place to stay–well maintained, clean with all the entertainment one could need inside and out for a range of enjoyment. We had 6 people in our party - my husband and I with our 2 kids and my 64-year-old parents.

My dad was happy to sit inside and watch DirectTV since he isn't much of a beach person during the day. With a beautiful balcony right next to you, you can still see and hear the beach even when being lazy indoors.

I have a 6 year old and 2 year old and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was for both. There are 3 pack-n-plays in the house! So my 2 year old had a safe place to sleep. The bedrooms were nice and comfortable, giving everyone the privacy they needed (the queen bed was very squeaky though!). The kids' room is downstairs with the other bedrooms upstairs, but I could hear them well enough when I needed to get up in the middle of the night.

The kitchen was also very well outfitted with nice pots and pans, casserole dishes and even Tupperware. We cooked several meals and never felt like something was missing.

The beach was exceptional, especially for little kids - the water was warm and the waves minimal and we didn't see one jellyfish or anything that would bite, including mosquitos! Couldn't ask for more. The beach furniture, toys and folding chairs that are at the house are nice, mostly new. We brought our own umbrella and some sand toys, but they had everything, so we really didn't have to bring anything of our own. It was so nice to be so close to the beach–if you forgot something, the house is so close, you didn't feel so inconvenienced to just go back and grab it.

This house is a hidden gem on one of the most relaxing beaches I've ever been to. I highly recommend it, it's worth every penny.
