About Sherrry or Bob Belisle
We moved to Woodstock 43 years ago, attracted by its beauty and so many cultural and sporting opportunities in the immediate area. For a semi-rural area, we have all the entertainment a city could offer. We've worked in the hospitality industry here for 40 years and can tell you about everything, even where the best foliage is! We'd be pleased to lend advice on where to eat, what to see and what to do in town. We have children and grandchildren and we've explored it all. However, we'll be very unobtrusive if we sense you so desire. In our pseudo-retirement we also maintain other properties, play tennis and teach piano lessons. Our log home was built from the trees on our property, even the cherry railings.
Sherrry or Bob Belisle purchased this Apartment in 2009
Why Sherrry or Bob Belisle chose Village of Woodstock
Our reviews say it all. Woodstock Vermont is considered one of the most beautiful small towns in the US. The village has wonderful shops, a beautiful library, art galleries, several covered bridges, many highly-rated restaurants and a National Park. Woodstock is also “wireless” – a wifi signal covers much of the area. Woodstock is centrally located in Vermont – close to Dartmouth College, Vermont Law School and the Green Mountain Horse Association. Local ski areas include Suicide Six (10 minutes), Killington (25 minutes), Pico (25 minutes), Ascutney (30 minutes) and Okemo (35 minutes). In season, we also have some of the best cross-country/nordic skiing within the local resort and National Park. We love it here. We lived next door for 40 years and completed this new home in 2009, with the idea of renting out the apartment for others to enjoy. And we specifically had our urban-living children advise us on the layout, appliances and amenities. It is a wonderful escape.

Comfortable and beautiful place to stay with everthing you need
Great apartment adjoining main house right up the street from the village of Woodstock. The owners were very helpful providing us with information on the area and being available for anything that was needed. I stayed here with my 2 children and we enjoyed it very much. Would love to come here again.
A beautiful home with nice hosts
15 minutes from Skyship base (you can buy tickets there, and you can rent from a place down the street) so it's very convenient for Killington Mt. Hosts were nice, accommodating and gave suggestions. The property was really nice - it just smelled amazingly of wood. Pullout couch in the living room was comfortable.
The property is a large home with two parts, hosts live downstairs, and guests are upstairs. Completely separate, with separate entrances. Delightful.
Property is clean and cozy. Loved it.
Great experience and cool little town. Bob is a great, kind man. Looking forward to visiting again in the future.
a wonderful stay!
We had a wonderful stay, the cabin is close to the downtown area, and a cozy place! Bob was the perfect host, and so accommodating. Definitely want to come back!
Great place! Clean and comfortable with rustic charm.
We decided to do a impromptu long weekend and rented the apartment to ski at Killington. We were very happy to find out the Skyship Lodge was only a 20 minute drive from Woodstock. Bob was s great host and made sure we were comfortable. He gave us lots of info about the town and where to go and eat. Woodstock is a lovely village and we'll be sure to return.
We stayed there with my husband, my brother and his wife. Great place. Very comfortable, clean and the owner was amazing. He gave us lots of information on where to go and eat. Very close to everything and downtown. Only 30 min. drive from Killington, VT for those interested in skiing. We also did snowshoeing. Will definitely visit again.
Although Woodstock is a village of just 3000+ in a rural area, there are so many activities to do and places to visit. In town is a National Park, Billings Farm and Museum, hiking trails, a spa and both fine and casual dining, One mile south is a fitness center with indoor pool and many classes, golf and tennis. Horseback riding is just 3 miles south, skiing 10 minutes north. We have an arts council that brings top notch performances to our Town Hall. Opera and Ballet are just 20 minutes away. Dartmouth College and Vermont Law School are also a short drive. Other Activities: Indoor tennis, Cross country skiing and extensive moderate hiking 4/10s of a mile Ski: Suicide 6 is 10 minutes north. It has 23 trails (30% beginner, 40% intermediate, 30% advanced.) Killington is 30 minutes west. Cross country skiing at Woodstock Golf Club, 3 minutes away.
