Great vacation with our family!!

  • 4 of 5

Great location, very quiet, great for our kids to swim, and the open space was great to entertain.

Some minor things to check into:

1)Light in bathroom did not work

2)Disposal did not work correctly

3)Shower in bathroom made noise when using it

4)Only 4 wash cloths for our stay.

However, our family would definitely stay again.

Thanks

Pat Bowers

Wonderful location, great pool!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this house with both sets of grandparents and our two children. The set-up was great; two bedrooms on each side of the house with a big central living area that opens completely to the outside, including the screened pool overlooking the canal. It was wonderful to have coffee out on the pool deck each morning.

The house is very clean, the kitchen well equipped and everything works well (including the wi-fi). There are plenty of towels and bed linens. There is a "starter" set of paper products, but you will definitely need more. The garage contains a wagon for carting things to the beach (about 2 1/2 blocks away), a beach umbrella, and a few toys.

The house is down a street where it is away from noise of restaurant row, but still close enough to walk to/from the beach and many restaurants and shops. It is well-kept with very nice landscaping and an outdoor shower. We were very impressed and would definitely stay here again.

Family Reunion

  • 5 of 5

My son and Grandchildren moved to Sarasota so we decide to bring our vacation to them. We were three families staying at all different properties . Three couples and my Grandchildren stayed at this house. It is a prefect home for entertaining adults and children alike. Lots of room, amazing outdoor pool and sitting area where we spent most of our time. 10 minute walk to the beach not bad. After the beach all day ! The pool was an amazing asset. We grilled and enjoyed the pool every night with extended family and friends!!!! Our Grandchildren loved the pool!!! The dvd's and Tv's were awesome to put them to bed!! So many great amenities! I would definitely rent this house again and highly recommend it!!! I do have one recommendation A second refrigerator in the garage or by the pool would be awesome for extra drinks!!!!!!! We did buy lots of ice all week to keep drinks cold! But all in all we loved the house!!!

Very well equipped

  • 5 of 5

The location was perfect. The house, amazing. It was very clean and we had such an amazing time. If I had one complaint, it would be the sliding door being so difficult to open, but really, who cares...we had the best stay ever!!!! We will be back!!!

Wonderful stay, great house and location

  • 4 of 5

Agree with the positive comments of others re: it's a great house in a good location in a quiet neighborhood, with comfortable sofas/nice open floor plan, 2 separate bedroom suites perfect for 2 couples to share (along with bedrooms on other side of the house we never used). Kitchen was equipped fine for us, and we cooked in quite a bit. House was clean, and it had plenty of towels/bedding.

Loved the short 10-minute walk to the beach each morning for exercise, and also loved spending a lot of time by the pool which is a bit larger than most, allowing us to do daily lap swimming. It was heated to the perfect temperature too. It was a quick 5-minute walk to the main street for restaurants, fun shopping, nail salon, and great hair salon too. We have been going to Siesta Key for 6 years now and love having several weeks to enjoy this great little beach town with the best beach ever. This was our favorite home of all the ones we have rented in this area.

Cannot say enough great things about the management company who was extremely responsive (literally within minutes of any email I sent) as there were some repair issues that needed handled: microwave broken which was known by the owner but there was no note on it yet there was a spare one located on a lower shelf-- after we called, a new one was installed; shredded pool cover that was supposed to be replaced a year ago but apparently wasn't; leak under the sink that flooded the lower shelf, which must have been previously known since there was a container underneath to catch the drips), lamps lacking light bulbs, and the sliding doors were very hard to open -- apparently will require more extensive repair. Regardless, we truly enjoyed our stay and would return. We appreciated the prompt response from the management who also kindly and fairly compensated us for the inconveniences, but would suggest some proactive repairs by the owners/management rather than reactive responses.

BEST VACATION EVER

  • 4 of 5

This house was just amazing and beautiful. the house in the perfect spot of siesta keys. Easy short walks to the beaches and all restaurants/ shops. The rooms were perfect with amazing air conditioning and heating when needed. The pool was great, big and spacious the perfect thing to cool down in. there is also an out door shower it was amazing quality, strong and powerful. in the garage we found a lot of toys and floats/ water guns to play with in the pool, we even left some more behind. this was very convenient. There were a few let downs to this house unfortunately; The garage door did break in the middle of our stay and the sliding doors to the pool were very hard to open and close at times due to the stiffness and the fact there were no handles on the door. however service came its way when they needed to fix the garage door and service the pool, Which hadn't been cleaned for some time prior to our arrival and would occasionally become green, apparently due to storms. Apart from these issues and general cleanliness, The house could do with a good clean and some new furnishing. There was not enough bedding, or kitchen utensils and pans, so the large kitchen Wok is a present from us for future residences! :) The rug underneath the dining table was infested with something that bites so the rug was rolled up by us and thrown into the garage, we recommend that you do the same! p.s you do need to buy your own toilet roll luckily we bought some just incase from publix. There was a mysterious orange stain on the blinds but lets just forget about that! the en suites on the right side of the house were absolutely astonishing, it literally makes you feel like your in a 5 star resort! we found the queen sized bed opposite the double twin bed room acceptionaly comfortable. the best thing about this house was how at home we felt and honestly missed it as soon as we left to go back home. it is very comfortable everyone is so extremely friendly!! you have a lot of privacy from your neighbours it feels like no one lives near you. its like your own little world. there are two door either side of you when your in front of the pool they lead to your very own garden with some lovely chairs and a table to sit around. we advice you very strongly to NOT swim in the lake due to us knowing that there are more than just fish in their and are most likely to be sharks in their too. we found a wild sting ray in there. the garden is filled with palm trees... to be continued
