Cozy house in Big Sky area

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I decided to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary by renting a house in the Big Sky area and inviting our family to join us for part or all of our stay. This house worked out great for us. With its three bedrooms in the main house and two additional beds in the guest house, there are plenty of sleeping spaces. The living room is very inviting and where we spent a lot of time visiting and watching movies. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to prepare and cook meals. There is a large indoor hot tub and the basement has a ping pong table, card table and washer/dryer. The owners are very helpful and responded quickly to our questions. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this property to others. In addition to the downhill and cross country skiing nearby, we happened upon a .8 mile trail to a lovely waterfall near Big Sky Towne Center. We splurged on a yurt dinner at Big Sky which was memorable and delicious. A trip to Bozeman one day was also a fun excursion.

What a WONDERFUL Home by the Gallatin River with Mountains surroundings - A piece of Heaven

  • 5 of 5

Our family with three teenagers thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home by the Gallatin River. There is plenty of room for everyone and then some!! We river rafted and did the zip line too! We did horseback riding and had a real cowboy dinner up in the mountains all very close to the home. We went into Big Sky Resort and rode up the ski lift and hiked down the mountain. The mountain surrounding the home was fabulous and watching the sunrise and set in that atmosphere was a piece of heaven. After the hike up Lava Creek to Lava Lake, the hot tub hit the spot to relax our weary bones! You could not ask for a nicer home or better location and the owners were very easy and friendly to work with. One comment though for future renters, please leave instructions on how to use everything and what needs to be done when departing. The ping pong table was a big plus and all the board games went over with a BIG hit for our family evening time. Having a washer and dryer really made it nice as well. I wish i didn't have to leave and surely hope we can go back soon!! Thanks so much for sharing your home!!

Shhh, Don't tell a soul

Great location, fantastic views with rugged, cozy appeal. After scenic mountain hikes, horseback riding, rafting and mountain biking on nearby logging trails, we prepared large family meals in the spacious great room. We enjoyed the mountains shadows, endless stars, cool mountain air and the roaring Gallatin River as a backdrop. We stayed there with two large families. Teenagers had plenty of room in the guest house. Matt was flexible and accommodating. Our only regret was not booking more nights. Thumbs up!

Nice property. Great location for accessing Yellowstone National Park or Big Sky/Moonlight Basin Ski resorts. Also great for fishing as the river is right across the street.

Best Deal in Big Sky

  • 5 of 5

great overall experience. Matt was very easy to work with and very communicative. this house has a warm cabin feel with a huge fireplace and very comfortable living room. the 5 bedrooms provided plenty of space for our large group of 8 adults and 6 kids. the massive garage and heated unfinished basement were perfect for laying out wet ski clothes and getting our stuff out of the endless snow. an inexpensive Christmas family ski vacation that we will never forget. Thanks Matt & Brothers!

Perfect location

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I have stayed at this house and absolutely loved it. It is the perfect location for skiing, fishing, and sightseeing. You can literally walk across the street to fish in the morning and drive a short distance to go skiing. The skiing is phenominal. Yellowstone is just a short drive away as well. It is large enough to sleep multiple families very comfortably and very well maintained. You will not be disapointed with your stay here.
