Welcome to the Seattle Turret House, a Victorian Triplex offering three furnished apartments in Seattle's charming Capitol Hill since 2010. We are conveniently located on a quiet residential street, yet just a short walk to an amazing variety of shopping, cafes, restaurants & taverns, with easy access to downtown.

Apt 5 is on the top (3rd) floor. See also listing 301794 (Apt 4) and 406960 (Apt 3). All three apartments can be adjoined through a central staircase to accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 bedrooms.

Capitol Hill is Seattle's most vibrant neighborhood, with historic homes, gorgeous city parks and a busy shopping & entertainment district. Two blocks to Trader Joe’s Market and Central Co-op, an excellent natural food store. One of Seattle’s most convenient, charming and vibrant areas.

No need for a car, take light rail from SeaTac airport to Capitol Hill Station, then walk, use public transit system or ride sharing services (Uber, Lyft, car2go) to easily get anywhere in the city. Convenient to Downtown, Pike Place Market and major tourist destinations.

Apartment 3 features grand day rooms, tall ceilings and beautiful hardwood floors. Comfortably furnished with leather sofa, arm chair and dining table. Fully equipped modern kitchen w/dishwasher, gas range and breakfast table. Renovated bath with walk-in shower. Outdoor deck with table & chairs. Washer/dryer inside unit.

Apartment 4 features a covered balcony with western views towards the downtown skyline and Olympic mountains, a great place to enjoy an evening glass of wine or morning cup of coffee. Comfortably furnished living room with leather sofa, rocking chair & dining table for 6. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher & gas cooktop. Renovated bath with clawfoot tub & shower. Washer/dryer inside the unit.

Apartment 5 is the penthouse and features cathedral ceilings, skylights and hardwood floors throughout. Turret reading room with views of the downtown skyline and Olympic Mountains. Private Sundeck with table & chairs. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher & gas cooktop. Washer/dryer inside the unit.

Convenient location, great suggestions in the Welcome Book, William, the owner, very responsive to a few minor maintenance issues. Definitely recommend opting for the driveway parking spot if you have a car, for the convenience. Had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

Great Place to Stay in Seattle

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Seattle Turret House (apt #5) over the Christmas Holiday 2016. The apartment was immaculately clean, just as pictured on the web with the night views of downtown Seattle from the Turrett room an extra bonus. The apartment and the neighborhood were very quiet, although commercial aircraft landing at SEATAC pass right over this building and can be heard especially at night. We would definitely stay here again. There are only 2 hooks and no towel bars in the bathroom so if you need more, pack some of those plastic “COMMAND” hooks that can be stuck on the wall in the bathroom or bedrooms and can be removed without damage. Worked great. Unfortunately we did not get to meet William, but then neither did we have a need to contact him.

Wonderful Experience

My son and I came to Seattle for 5 days so that we could tour UW. We enjoyed staying at the Turret House and especially Capital Hill! It had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. We were gone all day most days and the house was a cozy home base. Walking distance to many quaint coffee shops and restaurants. We stayed in the Penthouse which is the top floor. (many outside steps) We would stay here again but might request one of the lower level apts. Very convenient to everything!

Wonderful historic neighborhood, great for walking everywhere--numerous cafes, people watching, parks, sightseeing, etc. Easy access by bus (10 mins) or on foot (30 mins) to Pike Place Market, Convention Center, Volunteer Park, First Hill.
