Worst stay ever

  • 1 of 5

Okay here it goes, the cabin is beautiful located in the forest with a nice view. We stayed here last year and had an amazing time! Unfortunately this year that was not the case. the first night we were there we woke up to a flooded restroom (upstairs) we quickly called for help When one of the maintenance workers came to check on the restroom he said ," the seal was broken and this was NORMAL with these old toilets" Normal What the heck!?! So the 3 days we were there we did not even want to use the restroom in fear this would happen again. (remember we did not even use the restroom to began with it just flooded in the morning out of nowhere) . It just sucks that we paid good money and we get a house that we couldn't even use the restrooms, we literary had to go to a public restroom every time we went out.

Oh yeah and we had to clean up the mess... How fun :)

Owner's Response: Hello, Juan. Thank you for your valuable time and feedback. We are terribly sorry that the 2nd bathroom on the home had an issue. Unfortunately, nothing is perfect and a worn out seal is a normal 'wear-and-tear' replacement but leaves the toilet and tank good as new. In an event like this, if you felt uncomfortable staying in the home, we would be more than happy to accommodate you elsewhere so that you could have a relaxing and wonderful vacation! Please let us know when you're returning to Big Bear! We look forward to having you back.

Cute and cozy

  • 3 of 5

This cabin was really cute and cozy. There were a few things that were inconvenient like the stairs on the bunk beds were broken so it was impossible to get up. My friend got up and fell when she got down so that was just an unnecessary thing that could have been fixed and the other was there was spider webs everywhere. Especially in the bathroom when i was in the shower i looked up and there were webs (and a few spiders) all over the ceiling that could have been cleaned before we got there. Other then that the place was really cute and cozy and nice.
