Quaint cottage ideally located on Crooked Lake in a unique, park like community called Watersedge Resort. The shared resort offers 450 feet of waterfront access, sandy beach and a one-of-a-kind shallow, hard bottom beach that stretches out at least 225 feet, with only waist deep water. This combination of beach and park-like atmosphere makes this location the most desirable on Crooked Lake.
The park-like property also features a private marina, with two slips available for your watercrafts of up to 26 feet. Also included is a volleyball court, horseshoe pit, multiple fire pits and most of all, a tranquil setting for relaxing on a wooden swing, to watch the boats go by, read a novel or watch the fantastic sunrises or sunsets from the point.
Take a trip through the Inland Waterway on your boat or rent one from the two marinas less than 2 miles away. Crooked Lake is connected to Lake Huron by traveling through Burt Lake and Mullet Lake. It is a beautiful way to spend a sunny summer day.
Fall is a special time of year when the trees come alive with vibrant colors. Jump on the paved bike trail connecting Alanson to Petoskey to Charlevoix. Your only a 6 mile ride to the Petoskey State Park.
Many areas to view the color changes are great, but there is nothing as commanding as the Tunnel of Trees, along the shore of Lake Michigan. This area is just north of Harbor Springs about 15 minutes from your doorstep.
Skiing and snowmobiling makes this the Midwest's Premier Winter Destination, with trails just waiting to be ridden. The ski resorts of Boyne Highlands and Nubs Nob are only about 10 minutes from your cottage. The snowmobile trails are right out your door! Ice skating, sledding sleigh rides and ice fishing are also just a sampling of what is in store for you during your dream vacation.
Spring time bring out colorful blooms and the 21 championship golf courses open for the avid golfer, which are all within 25 miles of the resort. Hikers will also enjoy this time of the year, for its many trails and paths are waiting to be explored once again. Do not forget to visit the mighty Mackinaw Bridge and Island. It is only about 30 minutes from the resort.
With all the area has to offer with its unique shops, boutiques and art galleries located in Petoskey's Gas Light District and Harbor Springs, shopping should definitely be on your list of things to do. You may also want to see if Lady Luck is with you at the 'new and ultimate' Odawa Casino in town.

Great place for 2-4 people. Very clean and had everything we needed.
The cabin was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The short walk to the Lake was easy. People in the other cabins were friendly. They had been coming to the property for several years running which tells you something. Each cabin had it's own parking. Firewood was provided. Seems like they thought of everything.
This was our second year to enjoy this cottage. We love it there and hope to be back again!
We had a great time. The cottage was cozy and just right for our family of four with two younger kids. The beach is nice and the sandy bottom shore is lovely for swimming. There are lots of nice fire pits, a swing, and a volleyball net. The traffic noise from 31 is quite noticeable, but did not affect our sleep. It is handy to be more or less across the street from the bike trail. We loved it.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your little cottage! The beach area depth was perfect for young and old and the ability to have our boat right there was just great! The cottage was in great condition and prepped with all the little things you might not think of bringing. Thank you for such great hospitality - we look forward to returning!
We really liked the cottage and the way it was decorated. The beach was very nice and it was basically quiet when we were there. The cottage was very clean and the only drawback was the mattresses were very firm and could have used a foam pad on top of the mattress to soften the feel. We enjoyed how close it was to really great places to visit. It was comforting to come back to the rental and be able to relax and just soak in the ambiance. The cottage had plenty of towels (bath and kitchen) and nice kitchen facilities. We had a great time! Hubby appreciated the bottle of wine--the rest of us don't drink. The beach had umbrellas and chairs available to use. There is a grill at the cottage, but we did not use it. Definitely would consider returning!!
Crooked Lake is part of the Inland Waterway. The Inland Waterway connects Lake Huron to Mullet Lake, Burt Lake, Crooked Lake and Pickeral Lake. A beautiful boating experience.
