Why Teri Smith chose Wrigleyville
This is not your typical cookie-cutter rental; my personality & style shines through! My goal has always been to have my Guests experience the sense of having arrived ‘home’ when they walk through the door---to feel as comfortable & relaxed here in Chicago as they do their own home.
What makes this Guest House unique
The Guest House on Lakewood Avenue has three apartments, each floor can be rented separately or rent them together for larger gatherings--up to 21. It's great to all be under one roof, without being on top of one another--the three separate spaces offer privacy when you need it. And best of all--the little piece of nature outside the back door. The garden is private & peaceful--perfect place to decompress, relax and enjoy.
Max guests: 6
Minimum age of primary renter: 30
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date. 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
Damage and incidentals
You will be responsible for any damage to the rental property caused by you or your party during your stay.
My cousins and I booked Teri's place for a weekend get-away in Chicago. The place was perfect! Great location, clean, comfy beds, fully stocked with more than we ever expected, lots of towels, paper goods, even coffee and creamer! Would definitely recommend if staying in Chicago!
It was great meeting you all!
So happy you enjoyed your stay.
If you loved it in February, you'll be over the top thrilled come Spring, so plan another trip back soon!
Just perfect! This was our second time staying on the property, and we will be returning!
I cannot adequately express how much we love this property! This was our second time renting this house, we stayed on the main floor last year, for my 50th birthday, with my group of lady friends. We had such a great time that we went back this year and this time we rented the 2nd floor. The location is perfect for exploring the city, the neighborhood is quiet and safe, and the house is just beautiful! The house feels like home, SO warm and welcoming. The beds are outrageously comfortable, the bedding and pillows are great quality. We had everything we needed to prepare a great meal to share before we went out on the town. Teri is the most responsive and accommodating host we have experienced using VRBO! Everything with check in and check out went so smoothly! Just perfect. We love this property so much we are making this a yearly event.
OMG! Who doesn't want to hear that!?
Thank you Sharon! I will be happy to have you return over and over and over again! Maybe Newport Avenue location next year---do the tour of Chicago Guest Houses! Ha!
Family had a great time!
Our oldest son and daughter-in-law loved this property and celebrated an early Christmas here with our youngest son and his fiance who live in a very small Chicago apartment. They said that the place was beautifully decorated, immaculate, comfortable, and nicely located. Our family will definitely rent this property again.
I'm so happy they enjoyed their holiday here!
We 'deck the halls' so hopefully they felt at home for the holiday.
I look forward to hosting them again!
Great place, great location!
Outstanding city flat with an old-school Chicago look, layout and feel. Stocked with everything you might need and more! Great pillows, cozy kitchen and light-filled living room made our Thanksgiving family gathering a joy.
Short stay, left wanting more time
Our only regret is we wished we had more time to spend visiting and relaxing in this comfortable and well appointed home. We had everything we needed and thoroughly enjoyed our one night. Highly recommend for your Chicago stay.
Wish you could have stayed longer too! NEXT TIME!
