The home features 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 3 fireplaces, comfortable living room with classic brick fireplace, large dining room with large fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, a sun-filled sitting room overlooking the Sheepscot River, a dressing room, washer/dryer and an oversized 2 car carriage house. Located half a mile down a private and scenic gravel drive, this home's privacy is assured. The site is naturally landscaped with indigenous plants including the traditional lilacs, fruit trees, a grape arbor, clematis, and wisteria. Why the Owner Chose Alna, ME, USA:
We love unusual, unique properties with lots of acreage that can not be duplicated. This fits the bill. Being from the deep, hot and humid South we love the weather year round. We have also been impressed with the genuine hospitality you find from the locals- It probably helps being just a bit off the beaten track- but still only 15 minutes from two great towns- Damariscotta and Wiscasset.
