About Heather Heselton

My wife and I have two daughters 11 and 9 and live in Marin County, CA. We lived in Arizona for nearly 15 years primarily in Scottsdale. We have two dogs and enjoy the outdoors when possible.

Heather Heselton purchased this house in 2004

Why Heather Heselton chose Flagstaff

The decision to buy this property was sudden. We had looked for several weeks and could not find properties that quite matched our criteria. Our goal was to be on some land and have something that provided a break from the larger Phoenix area and the accompanying hot weather. I came upon the property on a solo trip to Flag and stood on the deck looking at the San Francisco Peaks and a stunning rainbow after a late summer rain. I called my wife and told her that I found the house we've been wanting. As a second home, we wanted to be able for the our kids to enjoy the outdoors and learn about nature and breathe clean air. We also wanted a place for our extended family and friends to visit without feeling that they were imposing. In short - we wanted everything this home had to offer.

What makes this house unique

There is not many things as satisfying to me as grilling at the outside kitchen looking at the SF Peaks. A glass of wine, the clean air, and the quiet solitude does wonders for my soul. I have gotten great satisfaction taking my young daughters on a hike to collect pine cones and look for 'treasures' on the easy hiking trail behind the house. We have had great times with our extended families including a 50 person family reunion this past summer. Everyone who visits is relaxed and loves staying at this property due to the space and privacy. The convenience to the Ski Resort is just an added plus. After skiing, it's great to go into the jacuzzi, look at the Peaks, relax and reflect on the day.

Great House

  • 5 of 5

The house and guest house are in a great spot about 15 mins outside Flagstaff. The views are beautiful, the house and amenities are in great shape and as shown in the pictures. Heather was very easy to deal with. Would stay again.

TRANQUIL AND BEAUTIFUL

  • 4 of 5

The house is definitely everything you would expect! It was perfect for our family of 7! We would go back but one of the neighbors threatened one of my children and for that reason I only gave 4 stars!!!!

Beautiful property

  • 4 of 5

Heather is wonderful to work with. The house and location are amazing. The internet was down for our whole stay which really put a bind on keeping in touch with the outside world, but the reprieve was nice. The hot tub in the light snow was relaxing and beautiful. The boys enjoyed the man cave above the garage.

These pictures don't give it the beauty & comfort it deserves!

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay. Close to many of the adventures we wanted to experience while we were on vacation. The owners have thought of everything with accommodations. Fully stocked kitchen and home. We will definitely refer this house to others. The unexpected snow storm didn't even put a damper on our Spring Break trip! We have even talked about staying again over the summer.

AMAZING!

  • 5 of 5

From the views, to the property, to the homeowners, this place is AMAZING! We had two familys and an additional adult, and we had more than enough room. The property was well kept and truly a home away from home.
