The Kohala Coast, former playground of Hawaiian kings, is the sunniest part of the Big Island with over 340 days of sunshine per year and an approximate average daytime temperature of 81 degrees. Only 18 miles north from Kona International Airport, this quick drive north will transplant you into another realm of island bliss. Why rent an expensive hotel when you can stay in a beautiful 1800 square foot home?
The Waikoloa Colony Villas are located in the exclusive Waikoloa Beach Resort area and only a 30 minute drive north of Kona-Kailua. It is a private and gated community situated on 22 acres of lush, tropical landscape and next to the 10th fairway of the Waikoloa Beach Golf Course, designed by Trent Jones. It hosts 2 swimming pools, one with lava rock waterfall and Jacuzzi spa and the other with a children's wading pool attached; one tennis court and an air-conditioned fitness center. The Waikoloa Hilton, just down the street from us, is a quick 10 - 15 minute walk from the condo and the Marriott is another 5 minutes or so.
Your home away from home is beautiful and spacious; perfect for families, couples or friends traveling together. With over 1800 square feet this roomy 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath, 2 story villa is tastefully adorned with island flair and is in pristine condition. You can't help but feel relaxed and rejuvenated with no one above or below you; there is privacy, peace and quiet. Located near the 2nd pool, our condo has a garden view and from the lanai there are both garden and mountain views.
The main living areas and a half bath are on the first floor. All bedrooms are upstairs with a full bath in the master suite and another full bath, across the hall, shared by the two guest rooms. A new, stacked, high efficiency washer/dryer is also upstairs in the laundry closet with beach towels, an iron and ironing board.
A fully equipped kitchen features granite counter tops, Whirlpool appliances and almost everything you will need to make it a breeze to prepare meals. Four bar stools sit at the counter, the formal dining area seats 6 comfortably and the living room with two sofas, chaise lounge, big screen HD TV/DVD player, stereo with CD player and iPod dock is a wonderful place to relax. Complementary wireless high-speed internet service is available as well as a wireless HP printer/copier. Beautiful artwork completes the look.
We have a Pack 'n Play for a little one as well as a "booster" chair and baby gate, a baby"floater" for the children's pool and a baby tent for the beach.
All bedrooms have flat screen TV’s with DVD players, clock radios with MP3/ iPod docks and ceiling fans.
You will love the master suite with handsome Tommy Bahama furniture, king bed, and walk-in closet; flat screen TV with DVD player. Décor is elegant tropical styling. The master bath has dual marble sinks, tub and separate walk-in shower; plenty of drawers for personal items. Hair dryers are in both bathroom upstairs.
The 2nd (middle) bedroom has 2 twin beds which can be combined to make a king bed. The 3rd bedroom is cozy with a queen bed, desk and chair. Both bedrooms also have flat screen TV's with DVD players.
There is no maid service at this condo. For those of you staying more than 2 weeks, I can put you in touch with our housekeeper for touch up cleaning. If you would like grocery items upon your arrival or need something you forgot, we have someone who can help with that. Additional fees apply.
Beach items for your use include boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs & umbrella, straw beach mats and a soft cooler on wheels. Two tennis racquets and a can of balls are ready when you are – the tennis court is a short walk within the property.
Our villa is minutes from beautiful beaches, championship golf, helicopter tour facility, upscale boutiques, high-end shopping and world class restaurants. Nearby you will find the King’s Shops and Queen’s Marketplace with their many shops, fantastic restaurants, and gourmet grocery store. Hapuna Beach is less than a ten-minute drive away; it's white sand has earned it a reputation as one of Hawaii’s finest beaches, being consistently rated on the numerous international Top Ten lists. Travel just a few minutes more to Mauna Kea Beach which, if you can imagine, is even more beautiful.
Renters must be 25 years of age, children must be accompanied by an adult of that age; no parties in the condo, please.

Paradise Found in Waikoloa
We enjoyed a 2 week stay at this wonderful villa in Waikoloa. Waikoloa Village grounds are gorgeous with many birds and great amenities. This villa enjoys a pool view which includes a grill. The area is very quiet and relaxing. The home has everything you need: kitchen full of pots, utensils, and some spices to get you started; great area to watch t.v.; and comfy beds in all 3 rooms. We loved sipping our coffee on the covered lanai every morning then walking to the beach and circling back to the property for breakfast. Cindy has put so much thought into every detail including tons of info about the island. We would not hesitate to stay again. There are beach chairs, an umbrella and cooler that we used for our trips to area beaches. Attention to detail, great customer service and gorgeous property - you will love it!

Loved the place --- was very impressed with it as far as what was represented in the VRBO posting completely matching what we got... that is about all you can ask for!

Very convenient location, home luxurious and cozy and appropriately decorated in honor of the Islands, kid friendly, very well maintained grounds and pools.... highly recommend this beautiful home! Owners are awesome, very knowledgeable about island activities, where best to shop, great restaurants, best beaches, etc, and always within reach if needed. We definitely are planning our third trip back!
Wonderful home away from home!
This condo was perfect for what we needed. Comfortable beds, very clean, plenty of space, steps from the pool, good overall location! I would gladly stay again for my next trip to Hawaii! An all around stress free experience!

It is also a great location to explore the Big Island from, central to Kona, Hawi, and with easy access to Hilo.

Very spacious and so many amenities for our 2 week stay. We loved every minute of our visit and the condo is amazing.
Emergency Services: the nearest hospital or urgent care center is in Kona-Kailua, 30-35 minutes away. Call 911 in case of emergency.
Helicopter tours just a few minutes away (see the volcano at night), Luaus, boogie boarding, zip lining, swim with spinner dolphins in the open sea, whale watching (Dec - Apr), massage/spas nearby

RATES ARE APPROXIMATE!! 6 night minimum ~ 60 Day CANCELLATION POLICY minus $100 processing fee. Christmas/New Year's Holiday Season requires minimum 6 night stay which must include Christmas eve and day. Rates are approximate and not exact for each season. Please read the rate breakdown per "season" or contact owner for specific rates as they change periodically. Cleaning fee is $210 - this is what our housekeeper charges us.
