Awesome House!!!

  • 5 of 5

This house was awesome! It fit our whole group of 24. The pictures do not do the house any justice. The rooms are bigger than we thought. We had a couple of small children along with teenagers and adults and this house was perfect for our group. We never felt like we were on top of each other. Every one did their own thing from canoeing, kayaking, swimming to playing basketball and just lounging in the shade while we bbq'd and enjoyed the music. One side of the house has all the shade throughout the whole day. The mornings were perfect for drinking our coffee out on the top deck. The rooms were definitely cold enough. Very clean and well kept up. We had such a great time at this house we will definitely book again! You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here.

Great for family reunions

  • 5 of 5

Had a great time with eighteen family members. Plenty of room for sleeping and dining. Huge property for outdoor fun and games and much time spent in the river swimming, kayaking and canoeing. I had forgotten how humid central Texas can be in the summer but the air conditioning worked great.

Even better than described!

  • 5 of 5

We planned a last minute trip and very much appreciated the quick response and excellent service. We were lucky the River House was available because it was the best house/property we've ever rented around hill country. Spacious, beautiful, clean house with a lot of charm and character. Our three kids loved all of the land, and we all enjoyed canoeing, kayaking, and some excellent fishing on the river. We also enjoyed the fire pit at night and the beautiful river views from the upstairs deck. We planned to make the short drive to New Braunfels at least a couple times but instead only left the property for some groceries and one lunch out. Just a beautiful and peaceful setting. Highly recommended. We will be back.

Good Place for Guy's Weekend

  • 4 of 5

We had 12 guys for a golf weekend. Biggest plus, everybody got their own bed. Plenty of room to spread out for outdoor games. Fire pit was a nice extra but bring your own wood. It's exactly as advertised. Very nice place and we would stay here again.

Perfect for large family!

  • 5 of 5

We had 24 people staying here with lots of kids and everyone had plenty of room to play, fish, swim or just sit and enjoy the scenery. The house was nice with a comfortable bed for every person. The river was great for swimming and water crafts and the fishing was great too! The property is private and close to other recreational areas; but you won't want to leave the property. There was something for every person to do and we had a great time together. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Love the River House!

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying in this River House this Spring. It is a huge house that can sleep several families--which is exactly what we needed it to do. The house is secluded, quiet, and right on the river--it was the perfect spot for our retreat get-away. Coming from the City, space is not something that is always in abundance--but at your River house, there is plenty of space--both inside and out!

We fully anticipate returning to this river house for future retreats and reunions. Thank you!
