My husband and I spent some time on Tybee and fell in love with it's beauty and wildlife. This property became available and we jumped on the chance to own a home at the beach. We have been very blessed and purchased another home which we now call home. My husband and I had so many wonderful times in this home that it would be a shame not to offer it to others! The best way to understand why we love Tybee is to come and spend some time here. Why Paula Crowe chose Savannah Beach

The Crowe's Cottage is located in the heart of the south end of the island. One of the few 'on the ground' homes left this close to the beach. Having a yard means alot to me because I grew up in the country and there is nothing that compares with being outside. I do my best to keep the yard and flowers in healthy condition and I ask my guest to please water the window boxes while visiting so they also are healthy. Within walking distance are shops, vendors, the fishing pier, restaurants, night life, the beach and everything else you can think of to do. The Cottage is on a privately owned street, which keeps it local and quite, while being steps away from all the action in the village. The island is so beautiful, the people are 'good neighbors'. The weather is mild most of the time although the summer can be hot!! The island is also co-located to Savannah, which is a wonderful, historic, walking town with lots to do as well! There is an international airport with in an hour's distance and close to several interstate highways.

PROSE FROM PAULA: The best thing about this home is the location. The next best thing is the owner(s)! No really! Because we own it, we get to make the decisions about how it is rented and when and how much, so on. My goal is to create a 'family of visitors', a place to go to every time you get a chance, even if it is for one night! This form requires me to input certain information to go 'live', but nothing is written in stone. ASK ME, you never know. Everthing is negotiable. I do the best I can to keep the cost down and in line with everyone else. My 'pet policy' requires a photo of your pet for prior approval because I don't know all the breeds, but I have found that most folks have a photo of Fido handy and are always eager to share. I am always accessible through this website or my cell phone. Please allow 24 hours turn around on the weekend because I need time off too and this is only one of my responsibilities. You can trust me, I am going to do exactly what I tell you I am going to do. I will always treat you with respect and if you have ANY problems, before arrival, during your stay or after you leave, I will do my best to handle them efficiently and satisfactorily. I want you to enjoy my home the same as I do, take care of it as I do, and always look forward to coming back. I usually try to meet everyone that stays with me...sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't, but when I am lucky enough to meet my guest, I always feel like I have met a new friend. If I can't make you happy in the Cottage, you might as well stay home! Safe travels and here's to a wonderful Tybee experience!
