Great place, great location, great vacation!

We had a great stay in 3C! The property is exactly as pictured, very roomy and clean with all the amenities. The communication with Paul was great and our questions were always answered within a couple of hours if not sooner. We didn't have to worry about beach towels or chairs as they were there for us to use. The staff at the condo were very nice and helpful. You are literally across the street from the beach and beautiful bike path and the Condo is right in the center of of all the restaurants, nightlife and great shopping!

The only thing I would recommend is having some cold bottle water in the fridge for when guest arrive. We got there about 9pm, we were tired and it was very hot, it would have a great treat!

Perfect

My stay here at the Carlyle was everything expected the place was nice and just as seen on the website. Paul was great with answering questions if I had any as well as making sure everything was great for our stay. We had no problems no interruptions no complaints smooth check in and out. Also what's a plus we felt safe u couldn't get on any other level other than the lobby without a key. I loved it and I recommend this place to anybody who is visiting Miami.

Great condo

The condo is very nice & clean. It doesn't sleep four the futon only sleeps 1. I did suggest they put an actual full or queen bed in the den.

The location is perfect. Just steps from the beach! Condo location is between 12th & 13th st.

Only thing is you must bring your own wash clothes they only provide towels & bedding needs. The kitchen is fully equipped dish washer, toaster, oven, stove, dishes, glasses, coffee maker, microwave etc.

Paul & the actual office manager were very helpful we had a minor incident when checking in & Paul was ontop of it! I definitely would book again.

Great Location - but check unit features for accuracy

Location across from the beach is excellent. Unit itself, and the way it's advertised needs a fix.

CONs

They misrepresent the bedrooms and sleeping facilities

- It has one bedroom and a den - not two bedrooms. Bedrooms have closets; the second room is a den without a closet.

- It does not sleep four - it sleeps three. The listing claims that the couch, a plain couch, sleeps one. This is something that good property owners would never say.

- It does not have a “full bed” in the second room (den) it has a futon.

- Off Street parking is really a public parking garage - $20 a day with no re-entry privileges.

Kitchen - no toaster, no dishwasher (or drying board), no glasses (!?) and almost no utensils. Not even a utensil tray - the forks, knives, etc. were piled in a drawer. We literally had to ask for drinking glasses.

No cleaning solutions such as laundry detergent or dish soap.

Minimal towels and no towel service.

No linens - when we arrived we had to request sheets, blankets and pillows for the couch and the futon.

The above could all be easily fixed if they were paying attention - that's just poor hospitality.

Very noisy from outside nights and early morning. In addition ask about construction next door.

To enter you must go through a bar.

The "concierge" downstairs is more of a building manager, not a concierge.

Unit is newer, spacious and the furnishings are a solid "B" in appearance.

Paul (sales contact), with the exception of these issues was a good communicator.

We expected what we saw on the listing and clearly it was oversold. Who wants to show up with four people and find out that one is on a futon and the other sleeping on a plain couch? If we had a more accurate representation of the unit coming in, the review would have been more positive in tone.

Owner's Response: On Dec 9 15 12:52PM in my initial email guest reply I sent him VRBO link which stated -As far as sleeping arrangements Suite 3C has in 1st bedroom a queensize bed sleeps 2 people.In 2nd bedroom/former den, has a reclining couch which unfolds into fullsize bed sleeps 1 person. In the living room, 1 person can sleep on couch which does not fold out This same statemnt above was included as part of our very first email exchange.These sleeping arrangements are sent out in every guest email inquiry to ensure guests are aware of where they can sleep Guest obviously did not read initial email thoroughly & was very surprised when he couldn’t sleep 2 people on couch.He argued asking how 2 can sleep on livingroom couch.Again it very clearly states only 1 person can sleep on couch & it does not sleep 2.There is nothing misleading about this statemnt If guest felt he would have been uncomfortable sleeping 1 person on couch then he did not have to book this unit.All this could have been avoided if guest only read initial email & checked site.This should have been very clear to guest as it’s been clear to 100’s of other guests who stayed before him who never complained As far as 2nd bedroom, this bedroom has a separate sliding glass door & has reclining art deco couch which unfolds into fullsize bed sleeps 1 person -please see 5th pic.This couch is not futon as falsely stated by guest but is couch which unfolds into fullsize bed with steel legs and frame -see pic yourself. It has all dimensions of fullsize bed and is found in many units across SOBE.There are enough linens in closet to sleep 4.Guest never bothered checking closet before requesting additional ones to be brought up Guest claims there’s no dishwasher which is absolute lie.Check 3rd pic yourself.You’ll see to right of refrig stainless steel Miele dishwasher.Units at Carlyle have Miele appl which incl dishwshr, stove, refrig, etc. has non Miele microwave & washer/dryer in unit.This unit does not have a toaster & never advertised to have one but good suggestion.This unit has utensils, cups glasses some in cabinets & others were washed in dishwshr after previous guests We have restaurant Valet parking in front of building for $25 per day - guest decided to leave out from his review I wish this guest would have had a better exp but needs to go back & check initial email, checked sleeping arrangements on site, asked questions upfront, not make false statemnts there’s no dishwasher when there clearly is one, etc
