SUNDOWNER II enjoys a FABULOUS LOCATION with SKI-IN behind Pine Ridge Condos AND WALK ACROSS THE STREET ... and less than 1 block to Snowflake Lift. Two block walk to center of Breckenridge Main Street shopping and restaurants, 1 block to The Riverwalk Performing Arts Center and the free shuttle bus stop is right in front. You can ride the shuttle to the gondola/base or walk one block to the Snowflake Lift and ski home on Four O’clock Run for lunch or at the end of the day.

The complex underwent a complete exterior renovation several years ago as did the UPPER VILLAGE POOL which the complex shares. The Upper Village Pool is a short walk away down a paved, lit path and has three large Jacuzzi’s, new locker-rooms and an indoor/outdoor pool that is kept at 88 degrees year-round. The Sundowner II also has an additional on-site Jacuzzi, gas grill, elevator, large heated courtyard (right outside our door) and underground garage.

The interior of this 1st floor unit has been completely upgraded. ALL NEW STAINLESS STEEL APPLIANCES IN KITCHEN. BOTH SHOWERS RENOVATED and they are gorgeous tile and glass - one is a steam room ! ! We purchased this condo in June of 2010 and have replaced fireplace with top of the line, decorated with rustic Aspen log and leather throughout, all new linens and paint to make it a very cozy year round mountain retreat for our family and yours. Pictures on the website are of this unit. Enjoy over 1,160 SQUARE FEET OF LIVING SPACE with slate floors in the entry, hallways, bathrooms and kitchen. Balcony off living room has views of mountains and is the perfect place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine while watching the activity outside.

There is a leather sofa in the LIVING ROOM which converts to a very comfortable Queen sized bed and a new Aspen log futon which converts to a Full sized bed. There is also a 42” flat screen TV with Cable and desk complete with Wi-Fi, computer keyboard and printer. Enjoy free internet along with new flat screen TV/DVD combos with free cable in each of the two bedrooms.

MASTER BEDROOM has all new Aspen log furniture with Queen size bed. Connected master bathroom has granite countertop, new ADA height toilet and newly upgraded shower.

GUEST BEDROOM has a fabulous NEW Log Queen over Queen (yes ! !) Bunkbed. This is a great place for the kids to hang out and watch their TV shows or movies while adults enjoy time in the living room. Guest bathroom has granite countertop, new toilet and shower which is also a steam room.

GREAT CONDO FOR ENTERTAINING... Kitchen is fully equipped and has been upgraded with light wood cabinets and a granite counter that can seat up to 5 people while the dining table can accommodate another 6 comfortably. Washer and Dryer in unit. The built in wine rack at the end of the bar/counter gives it that Bistro feel.

Private ski locker is located right outside the front door and there is a bike rack in the garage.

Why Rick Kasch chose Northwest

Located in the heart of Breckenridge. We can walk 2 blocks to center of Main Street, Riverwalk and Starbucks! One block from being ski in/ski out. The pool and hot tubs are awesome and were a definite must have on our list. Free Ride shuttle service stop right outside condo provides free transportation to anywhere in town. We wanted to get something that was in 'move in, pour drinks' condition and found it.

What makes this condo unique

Great location, great neighbors. So close to everything we find ourselves trying to decide - ski, sled, snowshoe, bike, pool, orchestra, rec center or....? Enjoy being out during the day, but cozy at home by the new fireplace at night. View of Peak 8 from balcony and Mt. Baldy from courtyard. Underground parking makes it so don't have to deal with snow during winter. Elevator from garage eliminates hassle of hauling gear up and down stairs.

Great place with plenty of room and very short walk to town.

Our family has stayed at Rick's condo over the summer months for numerous years. It is very spacious, updated, clean with very comfortable beds. It is very close to town and has a great hike to Saw Mill Reservoir just up the hill on 4 o'clock road that is perfect for kids. We plan on reserving for either skiing or next summer.

First time VRBO user and we'd stay here again for sure

2 Adults and 2 kids (10 & 7) staying late July/early Aug.

This was our first time using VRBO (or any other similar service) and we found that for us it was better than booking a hotel. The property was exactly as described and the instructions provided by the owner were perfect - we had no trouble finding the place, parking, and getting into the unit. And once in the unit there's a binder with further details on the unit and the area.

The pictures are a good representation of what you'll find when you get there. I don't have anything to add from that respect. Updated bathrooms, kitchen, etc, and the beds were good. Our kids loved the queen size bunk beds.

We did not use the pool nor did we go look at it so I can't comment either way. And since we stayed in the summer I have no comment on how things would be in the winter.

I'm going to list a couple minor inconveniences however please note, these didn't adversely affect our trip (we still rated 5 stars):

-We couldn't locate the remote for the cable box in the guest bedroom. We were able to use one from the other tvs however in that room just about every channel above 20(?) was not included in the subscription. I didn't feel like calling the cable company to inquire because we wouldn't be watching much tv in that room while there. The other two tvs were fine.

-The neighbors above must have tile or hardwood floors as there were times when their footsteps were rather loud. I haven't lived in an apartment/condo for 25 years so maybe I'm overly sensitive.

***I would recommend this unit to anyone heading to Breckenridge and I would stay here again.

Great place with everything you could ever want and need. My kids loved the huge bunk beds and the walk to town was easy and quick. Perfect please! Thank you to our hosts!!

great stay! easy walk to town less than 10 mins and easy access to lifts/gondola and ski home trail. Condo was perfect for our group. fireplace and hot tub really made the stay even better! Both bathrooms and showers are very nice and up to date, beds comfortable, and living area very open and spacious. Would definitely stay again.
