Why amy rex chose Coram
This property has a Montana Charm to it. A lot of rock and wood, and surrounding woods. It feels very private for only being 1 mile from hwy 2. It is centrally located to all the fun amenities this area has to offer. I can load my kayak on my car and floating on the Hungry Horse Reservoir in 20 min. and the sun stays out till 10:30 pm.. Why this property, because it is peaceful,, clean, fun, spacious, and has VACATION written all over it.

Very unusual and beautiful home!
The house is so beautiful and so unique. The stone work is incredible and the photos do not do it justice. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well supplied. The linens were all very nice. The house was immaculately clean and Amy was wonderful to work with. I would definitely stay here again! The house is only about 10 minutes from the west side of Glacier National Park, but the Going to the Sun road connecting the west side to the east side was closed due to the Sprague fire. It took 2-2.5 hours each way to get to the open areas of the park on the east side. Still, it was a beautiful drive and the scenery changed daily. Amy has walking sticks and bear spray available to use during the stay, which is much appreciated (we saw 5 bears during our trip). There are also tons of books and literature about the area available in the home. Thanks, Amy, for sharing the home with us! I took photos to show my friends the unique home, but they didn't turn out any better than the ones on your site. Truly, the photos do not do this home justice. FYI: Carolyn's Diner is a great place to eat, all homemade meals and bakery items, even though it is attached to a gas station.
unique cabin in beautiful Montana
In spite of fires which closed the western part of GNP, we had a wonderful time partly due to the comforts of this funky log/stone home. I appreciated the large, well equipped kitchen, and a bedroom for everyone plus three and a half bathrooms. Location is excellent (or would have been without the fire), close to the western entrance to Going to the Sun Road and also just three miles from a lovely "lake" that put the supplied kayaks to good use. Outdoor space (porch with chairs and a picnic table) was great for conversation and badminton tournament spectating. Be aware that the internet is slow or non-existent(sit at dining room table) and there is no AT & T phone coverage - a real drag. Although there is badminton and kayaks available, you will need to figure out how to transport the kayaks yourself and set up the net as you can. We put it up between a tree and a corner of the house -- poles too high to pound in, as suggested). Air hockey table doesn't work. So, although comfortable and large, not every detail is carefully thought through. Amy was super nice to work with and tried to offer suggestions where she could. Local bar has terrible food but is willing to tune in to college football if you so desire (we did). We would certainly return here if we have the good fortune to visit Glacier National Park again!!
Best place to stay while visiting Glacier National Park
This is such a charming and unusual cabin close to the National Park. The house was clean and comfortable. There were plenty of beds and baths for six adults. We didn't even need one of the bedrooms which would be great for a child. There were some problems with the dishwasher and obviously others were having problems because many of the dishes in the cabinets were dirty and needed to be washed before using. The kitchen could also use a few more cooking pots. Otherwise, kitchen was fine. We loved having the extra refrigerator in the garage for drinks. Brand new grill on the porch was lovely! We would definitely recommend this house!
All in all it was a great place to stay and I recommend it for traveling families who want to see th
Unusual but really great for a large family as we could spread out and spend time alone or get together as we chose. Centrally located so we could explore the entire area south of Glacier when we' were not busy driving around in Glacier Park.. The rock Cabin house was clean and spacious, with a laundry room And a massage chair which was a big hit. The kitchen was large and easy to use when we wanted to cook a meal. We Loved the personal touches from the owner's decorating. It also included beautiful quiet nights with sounds of chimes, and multiple chairs on the porch for you to sit on. There were also six rooms with good sized beds, three of which can fit two people, and a good amount of showers and bathrooms.
Traveled July 23-29, 2017. The house was in a great location between Glacier National Park and Flathead Lake. We had 7 adults and 5 kids. There was plenty of room. The only draw back was the wifi was not good enough for the kids to watch movies on their devices or to use the smart TV to watch Nexflix. Most of us had AT&T cell service and it would not work at the house. Had to drive into Martin City a few miles to have cell service. Otherwise the property is nice, clean, quiet, equipped and in a good location. Would recommend.
Large, spacious home. We spent 5 nights, and wish we had booked at least 3 more days. Very relaxing.
this house is located 1 mile from hwy 2 on a paved county road. There is a tall wood privacy fence surrounding the property . There is also a gate you can shut to make it more private.
