Cabin was good, stay was great. Pictures misleading

  • 3 of 5

Cabin in the photo on exterior did not match. Cabin location is great, cleanliness was average at best, found coffee cups upstairs that had been there a while. Cabin does not have the pool table anymore. Outside had a new front porch rail installed and the driveway was covered in saw dust. If it had been clean it would have been a good place to stay.

Smoky Mountain Dream

  • 5 of 5

Cabin was very clean and accommodating. The beds were great even the bunk beds were tempur pedic type mattress'. Owners sent over the information about how to get to the cabin and code to the door. We did not have to check in with the resort which was nice. Even though cabins are close together this one sits down hill from them and we never heard any of our neighbors. The cabin was decorated Christmas in all rooms very nice. They even put lights on the outside of the house. When we first got there we thought it was someone else' home but then we saw the address and was like Wow they went over and beyond. The only cabin fully lighted for Christmas. It put a nice beginning to our Christmas season. Would recommend this cabin to friends and family.

Owner's Response: Thank you for a very nice review. We try to make the holidays extra special at the cabin. We want our guests to think of Smoky Mountain Dreams as " their cabin" too. Making memories and family is why we share our cabin with others. Thank you so much

Cabin was nice and clean.

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was very clean and well stocked. If you have just a little bit of navigation you can find the cabin pretty easy. The drive for the cabin could be awkward for some, but if you don't have trouble backing up, this should be a breeze. We backed down the driveway and simply pulled up the hill when we were ready to go.

Needs maintenance

  • 3 of 5

Not sure who keeps the home in working order but they may need to be checked up on. Flood lights on outside of home do not work and it's a scary driveway that's steep. Cleaning crew doesn't move things when cleaning. No information was available for the waterfall or pool. The downstairs bathroom needs repairs to the floor. Some pruning is Needed for the back porch, like a jungle. Maybe a baby gate should be included for the stay. And purchase a surge protector or multi plug for the downstairs bedroom so renters don't have to unplug things for the DVD player, plus a new DVD player. Pool sticks and tips aren't that much on amazon and for what's being charged you should be able to afford these minor items. Don't use the coffee pot on the counter use the one under the sink. And if you want quiet you won't get it as you can hear all your neighbors
