We have 24 hours security, ample parking, lush landscaping, diving pool. Free laundry on site This area is Historic and very desirable. We are short cab ride to airport or $1.50 fair one way on light rail. Only 7 miles to Scottsdale.

About Russ and Erin
Welcome! Over the years, my wife and I have lived in five countries around the world and now dedicate ourselves to our posada style property in Phoenix. My wife is an American who has traveled the world, resided in Mexico and Spain and speaks fluent Castillian. As for me, I was born in Russia in the former Soviet Republic of Moldova, about a 2 hour drive from Romania. My hometown looks a lot like the Transylvania seen in old American movies. I have traveled extensively through most of eastern Europe and as far east as Siberia. I have experienced meeting many interesting people in my travels and I wish same for you. You need to come and experience our superior service and worldly charm. Come visit Historic Central Phoenix and spend some time with us. Warmest regards from our family to yours.

Palm tree lined avenue takes you within a few minutes walk to over 10 restaurants, bars, boutiques, studios and the light rail. Getting to tourists destinations in AZ like Sedona, Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon makes this location a great starting point for your Arizona vacation. We have owned this property ten years and we occupy one of the villas all year long. Join us at our half acre resort get away and enjoy our fruit trees, hammocks, Jacuzzi, diving pool, lush landscaping all under the warm AZ sun.

We are located one block north of Camelback and between Central and 3rd Ave. Centrally located on a quiet residential street yet with great entertainment and attractions one block away. 'This is much better than a hotel!' 'I feel like I'm at home.'

Outstanding Host and Hostess
Russ and Erin are very friendly and helpful. Russ met us as soon as we parked. He invited us in and showed us around. Erin even put a bag of fresh grapefruit on our door they picked off their tree. Sweet and Juicy.
The Unit is Very clean and fully stocked although we did not use any of the kitchen facilities. The address is in a residential neighborhood with homes and rentals mixed throughout.
The owners live in the main house with three other rental buildings in back surrounding a swimming pool.
We confirmed we had a 20# well trained dog when making the reservation and there was not a problem with this before, during or after our stay.
There is an awesome Pub a couple of blocks from the unit called POSTINO. Make it a point to go here, excellent food, service and Happy Hour all day every day until 5:00 PM $5/wine. We ate here twice
VRBO listing states it sleeps three with a pull out bed which they have recently replaced with the leather couch in the photo which worked for one person but not a bed. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable however.

We chose this property because it was listed as a bed and breakfast and pet friendly
This property is 3 buildings around a central yard, like a small apartment complex. We informed the owners of our 2 dogs when reserving, easily done via phone. Upon arrival they told us we would need to keep our dogs on leash at all times so as not to disturb the outside "working cat" that lives on property. We were told this multiple times both verbally and via text message after the owners left on day 2 of our 4 day stay for their own vacation. They left a friend’s mother onsite to manage it while they were gone. We were also informed upon arrival that the VRBO rate does not include breakfast.
The pictures show multiple units. We stayed in the Arizona Suite w 2 large bedrms and 1 bath & beautiful polished concrete floors. There’s space for a crib or pack n play in each room. Each bedroom had a desk and chair & large closet. The bed and couch we used were comfortable, though we were also told to keep our dogs off the furniture. We were able to use the internet easily, but didn’t see the pool table, video library or cd/stereo as listed. There were fans in the bedrooms and living room which was nice, as the AC controls were behind a locked box. The remote control for the tv in the living room would only turn the tv on and off, so we had to manually use the dvd player. There were extra sheets, blankets, pillows, towels and a cot available in the unit. The kitchen was stocked with basic supplies, though we had to clean most dishes before using them. The microwave was on top of the fridge. The pool was clean for one day during our stay. After the owners left for their vacation, a tenant, who we were told lives in the unit next to us, played his music loud enough we could hear it over our own tv. He also smoked outside his unit for hours, which drifted into the central yard, though the property is listed as non-smoking only.
The property is centrally located as described. We particularly enjoyed the nearby Sun Up Brewhouse which offers multiple excellent homemade beers and root beer in growlers. Walking back for a growler refill was a nice outing for the dogs. Dutch Brothers Coffee was also within walking distance. The employees were very friendly and had excellent coffee. The quiet neighborhood is a mix of private homes, apartments and other rental units like this one. It was convenient to several malls and Nordstrom’s Last Chance, which the owner told us about when we arrived. The owner also let us know the onsite vending machine had several local beers.
