Good Location, Nice price, Quiet, Recommend better attention to detail for cleaning service

  • 3 of 5

Liked the decor, very mountain-y, king size bed was soft and comfortable. Also, although the kitchen is small there was ample storage space for everything. The pans in the kitchen were a littler weathered meaning if you want to cook eggs without them sticking...I might recommend brining your own pan. Otherwise, kitchen very well stocked. Athough this didn't affect us, two things to note on location: 1) unit is on 3rd floor which requires multiple flights of stairs whether you are headed slopeside on floor 1 or to the parking lot on floor 6. There is no elevator so schlepping food and equipment might be a challenge, it didn't bother us but worth noting. Also, I would say the unit is about 1/8-1/4 mile up the hill from the main village which wasn't a huge concern for us but again, walking back uphill after walking to the village when you are tired could be a challenge. Was easy to ski right down to the gondola! The most disgusting thing is that the cleaning crew left USED bar soap in the shower that,, had hair on it. This is unacceptable and just gross. Also some of the dishes that had been put away in the cabinet were dirty, one mug was filthy and couple other itmes just looked like they were run through the dishwasher but put away without a second look. There were some basic cooking supplies in the unit, olive oil, S & P, tabasco, etc. Unit was overall, very comfortable, spacious and you couldn't hear a thing if the unit door was shut.

We really enjoyed our stay - easy access to the base area and easy to get to so we could meet in the condo for lunches. The condo is small, but good for up to 4 people. Things were clean and well kept. The walls are a little thin so some noise from other units, but not to bad. There are some stairs to navigate since the parking lot entrance is on the 6th floor and we were on the 3rd floor. Hot tub on the base floor was a great way to end each day.

Keystone, CO

Perfect in Every Way!

  • 5 of 5

I am a single female here on business and could not be more pleased with my choice of property. This condo is great. The living room is very comfortable and I loved coming back to the fireplace after a long, cold day in the field taking outdoor photos. The view from the balcony is great. I was impressed with the snow cats going by, what a treat! The bed is AWESOME. I slept so well and woke up to sunshine and chirping birds :-) The shower was even a highlight, the water pressure was perfect and I didn't want to get out of there. Close to everything. There is a shuttle but I did not have the opportunity to use it. The restaurants in the village were very close and the food was good. I really liked Slopeside Grill, which happens to be ski in/ski out, and they have great deals on their (tasty) pizzas after 10pm. The Strawberry Hot Springs were a fantastic recommendation! Downtown was a super cool place to explore and meet some locals. Bike trails are everywhere, and lots of hikes, scenic drives, and activities for people of all ages and abilities. By far the best place to stay and explore. I will be back this summer!
