Wonderful time in the mountains of North Carolina.
Great comfortable cabin, owner was very accommodating. The private location was very peaceful, we will visit again.
Great Christmas vacation
Got away from the warm Florida weather & enjoyed a COLD Christmas! Cabin was very nice. Would definitely stay again!
Wonderful home in a beautiful location
The cabin was really nice and comfortable. Being on the river was beautiful. We drove to Boone and West Jefferson and the drive was not too long either way. Highly recommend!
Wonderful Thanksgiving in West Jefferson
Our group of 6 really enjoyed our stay in this cabin. It was very cold outside but we were cozy inside. The layout of the cabin was open and comfortable for the 6 of us all to find a spot in the shared living spaces. The front porch is phenomenal. We also enjoyed walking down to the river where we had a Thanksgiving fire in the established fire pit. The kitchen was fully equipped to create our Thanksgiving feast and each bedroom was a perfect retreat.
While we were in the area we visited Boone, Blowing Rock and downtown West Jefferson. Each had their own personality and were but a short drive away. I highly recommend this cabin for your next family or friends gathering.
We loved it.
Beautiful, comfortable and clean cabin. Very tranquil setting on the river. West Jefferson is close by as are wineries and many scenic areas. The roads to the cabin were a cinch. I can't wait to return in the summer!
Beautiful, isolated cabin overlooking the New River
Very nice quite, isolated cabin overlooking the New River. Very well maintained.
Stocked very well with basic essentials. Awesome large covered back porch with grill
overlooking the river! There are a large amount of steps (bit of a hike) to conveniently get down to the river where you will find a cleared area with picnic table and fire pit. Just a short ride to West Jefferson, Mt. Jefferson, Blue Ridge Parkway and even Boone. Will return!
