The Fairway Villa is located at the corner of Ala Wai Boulevard and Wailani Street, just 2 blocks from the world famous Waikiki Beach. The building offers 365 condos on 29 floors. My condo is located on the 23rd floor. I recently renovated the condo completely and am excited to offer it to my future guest. As indicated from my photos, the condo is tastefully furnished with all the comforts of home.
The condo is air conditioned, offers basic cable TV on a 32' Plasma TV, FREE wireless internet, FREE long distance including the mainland US and Canada as well as FREE parking. The condo has a washer and dryer also, and tub and shower both in the bathroom. The refrigerator offers an ice maker and all appliances are new as of October 2010.
The roof top offers a pool, sauna and jacuzzi. There is also a bbq are on the roof as well for guest to enjoy. Amazing view of the Ocean and the Mountain and City view.
The Fairway Villa is a secure building with 24 hour security. We are just minutes from shopping, the International Marketplace, restaurants as well as other tourist attractions in Waikiki. We are 1 block from the city bus stop which will take you anywhere on the island.

I enjoy this end of Waikiki as it's easy access in and out of Waikiki. Being at the corner of Ala Wai Boulevard and Walina Street, the condo has a nice breeze from the mountains. I specifically chose this unit as it has a beautiful view of the mountains, the canal, Diamond head and ocean view as well. The unit is located on the quiet side of 23rd floor and I am excited to offer this condo to my vacation renters so they can enjoy the same features as I do.
1. Location...location...location !!! Walking distance to Waikiki beach, shopping area, night life/club/bar, restaurants, groceries store/Foodland, bus stops, etc. 2. Newly renovated and refurnished unit with modern and comfortable amenities. 3. Free Internet, Free local and long distance to mainland USA and Canada, Free Parking.
We really enjoyed this condo. It was clean, centrally located, in a well kept building and having a dedicated parking was much appreciated. Although it was a studio, it had a comfortable queen size bed and a couch to watch TV. The WIFI network was very fast and the phone provided free calls to Canada and the US. Budi was there to greet us and provide us with all the required information. The beach was less than 10 minutes away. Shopping and restaurants were around the corner. It was perfect for the two of us. We highly recommend this unit for a stay in Waikiki.

Many of our Waikiki friends visiting us at this condo have complimented us on our lovely studio, the excellent facility and amenities. Parking, long distance calls, in suite w&d, wifi, heated pool, hot tub, bbqs--all in--PLUS proximity to the beach, golf, restaurants and shopping make this a top notch vacation property. Security in the building is excellent and the building is well maintained. The manager, Budi Staven, is professional, prompt and attentive. This rental unit is truly a gem. We are returning guests and we will be back!
We have stayed at Budi's condo numerous times and found him very friendly and helpful when we needed him. The condo is always very clean with everything one could need. We enjoy the view from the lanai and the amenities on the upper deck. We love that the building is very secure and staff friendly. Looking forward to going back again next year.
We reserved this unit 10 months in advance for a five night stay in Honolulu/Waikiki (12/24-28/2016). As the reservation stated on 2/25/2016: "Please call me or email me if there is a change in your travel plan. Cancellation fee is $75 and if the cancellation is made within 6 weeks of arrival, there will be a 2 nights minimum charge. I will send you a follow up email or call few weeks before your arrival date to reconfirm your reservation." I received no follow-up email or phone call, nor word that an overbooking existed until I confirmed the reservation via email while in Maui the day before we were to arrive at this rental on the 24th. At that time Budi informed me there was a problem: somehow our reservation was overridden by another reservation and therefore we could not stay at this chosen rental, but no need to worry as he had secured a similar unit a few blocks away with same view. Unfortunately, if we had seen pictures of the unit Budi had secured for us we would have not accepted it. True, it was situated with a view, clean, and with some amenities of the originally reserved unit, but not one we would have reserved for ourselves for various reasons. It's ironic customers must abide by the rental agreement or have cancellation charges levied, but not the owner/manager. I would think this kind of error by management should result in at least a two night refund. Good thing I followed my standard travel practice and confirmed my reservation or we would have had no place to stay upon arrival. Secondly, paying in such a large amount of cash or incur a 3% credit card fee, in this day and age, seems an old practice. There are various ways to exchange currency rather than cash in such large sums; Paypal for instance. At any rate we held up our end of the agreement. Finally, the original agreement said Budi would be there to meet us upon arrival, however he was out of town until the late the 27th, so cash did not change hands until our 4th day in the rental unit. If one wants to rent from this property please be aware problems could arise. We are reasonable, experienced travelers both nationally and internationally, but have never had an experience quite like this.
This place was exactly what my nieces (19 and 23 yrs old) needed. It was centrally located and had great views of both Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach, there is also the canal next to a golf course with lush greenery. I had breakfast on the lanai every morning. We were in extremely reasonable walking distance to Waikiki Beach, great eateries, and shopping. The noise, surprisingly was minimal considering how close we were to "where it all happens". The ABC stores are where it's at- basically on every corner with fresh snacks and groceries, toiletries etc. We did lots of beach bumming and eating which we walked everywhere to. One activity we did which required driving was parasailing- however we rented a car for the week. It's about a 20 minute drive from Hanauma Bay and other parts of Honolulu. We visited the Dole Plantation, again we drove to, in Wahiawa, which is about 45 minutes away and a BEAUTIFUL drive full of lush greenery. Then we also went to the Pearl Harbor Museum but was picked up for that. We also visited Chinatown, which we weren't huge fans of... mostly because we've been to Chinatowns in NYC, San Fransisco and Chicago and that was about 15 minutes away- so we definitely appreciated the parking spot.
Upon arrival we called him and he met us out front of the villas, guided us to our parking spot and took us to our condo. The only thing that sort of left us confused and waiting was we never got a real email confirmation from Budi via email, but because he and I had a conversation over the phone, I didn't feel the need to have an official confirmation... maybe I should have? But it came through. During our stay Budi emailed me the confirmation page, and then picked up our payment. Other than that, Budi is nice, friendly and informative.
We would definitely stay here again, and if we have a bigger group we might see if Budi has something else available for us before we seek out other properties.
This place was the perfect mix of everything we were looking for to realize our goals for our time in Oahu. The location along the canal meant fantastic views of the mountains, Diamond Head, and Waikiki; easy access to the fun of Waikiki and sights outside Honolulu; and, just the right distance from the crowds and high prices right along the beach. We found loads of great places to eat that were within 5-7 minutes walk from the apartment and which did not live up to the area's reputation for crazy over-priced meals. The free parking spot was a great feature, even if the steep ramp into the garage is a bit intimidating. We loved having meals and drinks out on the lanai, and the kitchen had everything we needed to do some cooking, to give us the experience of living in Waikiki and to save money (and the grocery store is just down the street), although having salt and pepper in the unit would have been appreciated. Budi was super easy to work with, and everyone we spoke to at the building was similarly friendly and helpful. We would gladly stay here again and would recommend the unit to any other couple or solo traveler looking for the perfect location in Waikiki and the right mix of price and comfort!
Bonus: We can attest to the total safety and comfort of the unit/building in a tropical storm!
