About Allison Goodwin

Our parents purchased this 2-Villa property in 1978. Family members live in one villa and our guests enjoy our identical 'twin'. The photo above is a 20-30 minute hike up the hill above the rainbow tunnel - wonderful hiking the Marin Headlands right outside our door - that is if you can pull yourself away from our deck over the water.

Why Allison Goodwin chose San Francisco Bay Area

The property speaks for itself.

What makes this townhome unique

Listening to occasional fog horns, seals barking and sea gulls, watching the full moon rise and sailboats race around buoys. Walking down along the waterfront through historic Sausalito for morning coffee or hopping on the ferry to San Francisco, this is a magical place to visit and live. Enjoy and Welcome!

If you're visiting SF, this is the place to stay.

Perfect location! Quiet, parking, a view from every room, porch the length of the building with a grill, gas fireplace if the evening gets chilly, everything was great. It's a easy walk down to the main strip in Sausalito where there is plenty of dining and shopping without the hustle of SF. Make sure and get some ice cream from Lapperts. SOOO yummy! And, if you are going into the city, walk down the hill and catch the cheap ferry that runs all day. A lot easier than driving in and fighting for parking. We even walked to the Golden Gate Bridge. I think it's about 2 miles...? Waking up every morning to the sunrise thru the bedroom windows, cooking breakfast, still in pajamas, then sitting down to eat watching boats float past listening to birds was heaven. Also, if you plan on sightseeing up north, it is easy to hop on the 101 and you're on the way. Allison couldn't have been nicer. Lots of communication. Thanks! We will be returning!

Spectacular Views from Every Room!

  • 5 of 5

The pictures don't do it justice; being there in-person will take your breath away. We spent every evening on the balcony sipping wine and watching the city glow to life.

Be it wine country, San Francisco, Muir Wood or the beach, this property is perfectly located in the heart of it all. The owner was very attentive to our (many) questions prior to arrival. This is our #1 choice for future visits to the Bay Area. Highly recommended!

Thanks for the memories!

Gorgeous views, a sanctuary in the midst of San Francisco Bay

  • 5 of 5

A beautifully maintained home with exquisite views.

We sat on the patio all afternoon and felt blessed to be there watching the ferries, boats and kayaks, breathing in the fresh ocean air in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Beautiful Views

The million dollar view of the city and bay was amazing. We also really enjoyed how nice and comfortable the apt was and the owner was very personable and helpful! Yes, I plan to stay there again in the future.

This rental is best described as a true home away from home! You couldn't ask for better accommodations, views, location and amazing owners! Allison was so friendly and quick to respond to all of our questions/needs. If you didn't have a car it would not be a problem. There is a small market just down the street or steps, the ferry to SF is just down the street or steps and the downtown nightlife/shopping is also just down the street or steps! Like I said, "HEAVEN"!! This place will spoil you and make all other rentals a disappointment!

This is as good as it gets. Super comfortable, views to die for, and easy access with no steps to climb. We stayed for the entire month of Oct and have already booked next Oct. We had one small problem. The Direct TV did not have our two favorite programs. I texted the info to Allison, the owner. Within 5 minutes I received a return text "Try it now". And our programs were there. Before we checked in we spent two nights at the 4 Seasons in San Francisco. I thought that their service was the best.....but of course I hadn't meet Allison yet.
