This house was a disaster when we purchased it! We completely remodeled it and have put a tremendous amount of work into it to make it the beautiful place that it is today.
Owner purchased this Cottage in 2005
Why Owner chose Astoria
My son lives in Astoria and he is the remodel expert!
What makes this Cottage unique
I love the views from the deck. I love hearing the sea lions bark. Astoria is such a quaint town. And I always get out to the ocean on my visits there.

Cozy, Comfortable and Quaint
This house is in a great location and in a very charming neighborhood.
Astoria has beautiful Victorian and Craftsman homes well over a hundred years old.
Owner has done a great job of remodeling and maintaining. We appreciate the prompt responses and great communication. We had a wonderful August and got to experience the Solar Eclipse at the Astoria Column. This is our 2nd stay at this house and would recommend without hesitation.
Fantastic views and great location!
We walked in and immediately felt at home. The place was clean and cute.
We were able to access the riverwalk easily and I even found a great hairstylist within walking distance. The views of the bridge and river were spectacular. The fireworks on the 4th from the top deck were really special. The month just seemed to fly by. Hope to come back in 2019.
We are so happy that you enjoyed our house and your vacation!
Relaxing on the Oregon coast
This Astoria rental is perfectly located within easy walking distance to town and most necessities. The view and quiet setting were ideal for the Fall months. The neighborhood offers great access to hike up to the Astoria Column as well. The home is well equipped with all your needs. Patricia was very easy to reach and made the process go smoothly. Hope to come back again in the future.
Excellent getaway, beautiful views
We stayed for the full month of July, 2016, and we enjoyed every minute of it. The house was well-equipped; the decks were enjoyable; the view from the deck outside the upper bedroom was fantastic. We loved the ability to bicycle or walk to restaurants and to the grocery store. After being back in our hometown for a few months, we find ourselves missing Astoria and the house. We hope to be back again.
Perfect month in June!!!
We so enjoyed our stay in Astoria in June. The home was very well cared for, the views were fabulous and we enjoyed the quaintness of it. We will definitely recommend this home to our friends and family. Astoria is a wonderful place to vacation, so many wonderful things to do and the weather was PERFECT!!!
I really wanted to stay longer!
I had the joy of being able to stay here for two months, from Aug. 1 to Sept. 30, 2012. The house is cute, cozy and very clean. The pictures do not do the interior justice. I believe they were taken before the home was furnished. It is comfortably furnished. Both beds were comfortable. I slept one night downstairs but chose the upstairs bedroom for the rest of my stay. The view from the upstairs window and deck was fantastic, both day and night. I had wonderful views of the bridge and the river. The Safeway and a Trolley stop are within walking distance. The neighbors are friendly and I got adopted by the cat from next door, even though I never fed it. It loved being petted. I enjoyed reading on the front porch or on the upper deck. The owner's son lives nearby if anything goes amiss. I have some friends who live in various parts of Oregon who came to visit and they loved the house. My sister came from Arizona and she loved the house and fell in love with Astoria. There were so many things to do in Astoria that I missed many of them because they were happening at the same times. Be sure to visit the Sunday Market, the Flavell House, the Maritime Museum, the Trolley (more than once), the Heritage Museum and just wander downtown and some of the residential streets if you can. I cannot imagine spending only one week in Astoria. I really hated leaving. I still miss the great views and listening to the sea lions.
