Why Jerri Anneberg chose Cannon Beach
My Father bought this Cabin from my Grandmother in the early 1980's. She owned the "Singing Sands" Restaurant in downtown Cannon Beach in the late 1950's and early 1960"s. It used to be approximately where the bookstore is now. The milkshake maker in the kitchen is one of the many she used in the restaurant.
What makes this Cabin unique
The Cabin has a wonderful back yard for your enjoyment. The Spruce tree on the property is at least a couple of hundred years old and topic of conversation for everyone who walks by the house! The Cabin has a new gas fireplace which can warm the house on cooler Fall and Winter evenings.

Clean, charming, well-maintained
The Singing Sands was a perfect setting for 3 couples’ long weekend in Cannon Beach. The abundance of windows & light, games & puzzles, and gas stove compensated for the wet weather outside. We loved the close proximity to the beach, where we walked every day, regardless of the weather. This historic home is nicely renovated & has a tasteful beach decor. The kitchen and house was well-supplied with everything we needed, and was clean and comfortable.
Perfect house for a Cannon Beach trip
This is our 2nd time staying at The Singing Sands. The house is clean, well kept up, has a great backyard, and the location is perfect. We always visit in early Spring, so we haven't used the backyard too much, but we did play some horseshoes during a sun break during this trip. We love the location as it allows us to get to the beach without crossing the main street. Also, it's very close to shops making it easy to take quick trips to the candy store. We are looking forward to staying here again.
Cozy and close in
The prefect place for my family getaway! The house was cozy and welcoming and had everything we needed. It is a very short walk to the beach and to town making a car unnecessary except for trips outside of Cannon Beach.
Cute, Cozy and Convenient!
Excellently outfitted, clean and charming home; just the right amount of charm and practicality. Equally easy walks to the beach and to downtown restaurants/shops. The big yard is a splendid expanse and visual buffer for those low skies in winter. Lots of light through windows and skylights. You'll be tempted to stay in and to take the easy walk for outdoor/in town fun.
Beautiful Property, Perfect Location!
My husband, two kids, and in-laws escaped down to Cannon Beach for a long weekend in February - admittedly, not the ideal time to visit the coast - and loved our stay! The house was in great condition, with literally everything you could possibly need. There were comfortable beds, toys and games, and a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of pantry staples available for use.
Even in the midst of winter, we had plenty of great time outdoors. The house is within walking distance to the downtown area with plenty of fun shops and restaurants, and a nearby market with groceries and other items you might need. You are also just a very short walk to the beach, and views of beautiful Haystack rock. One day we were there, the sun made an appearance and we walked around the beach for about 2-3 hours just soaking in the views.
I can't recommend this property enough - great location, everything you need, a perfect weekend get-away. We can't wait to try and come back during the summer and put the wonderful backyard to good use!
