I purchased this condominium as a primary residence in 2007 because it was centrally located and offered the best of all possible lifestyles in Durango within immediate walking distance. Several years ago we moved to a location nearby to raise our family as it grew, and to continue to enjoy this particularly fantastic part of Durango for all it has to offer. It's nice to be able to go out to dinner or drinks year-round, or go shopping for groceries or other goods and services and not need to get in a car.

Very lovely two bedroom right where you want to be when visiting Durango. Can walk almost anywhere. Home is clean, beds comfortable. Parking not great. No guest parking in the garage one night cost me a $25 parking ticket

Great location, nice property, very responsive

We stayed at the condo over Christmas. The location was excellent; walking to the train depot, shops and restaurants was very convenient. Chris was very responsive and accommodating to all of our questions and requests. We had 5 adults in our party. It was definitely 'cozy' for sleeping but not cramped. Very comfortable size for meals and lounging or watching TV. Nice wood floors throughout. Bathrooms were large and the kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes and cookware.

Beautiful condo with kid friendly perks!

We loved staying here. Very nice decor, quieter than we thought for being right downtown and close to everything because it really is right downtown! Our four year old was elated that there were toys to play with and that he had his own tv in his room and at the breakfast table. :) We will definitely stay here again!

Modern condo in great location

My husband & I had a great 4 day stay in Durango in this condo. Clean, modern, agree with everything the other reviewers have mentioned. Here are a few additional things to note. There is secure, reserved parking, which is essential if you are staying downtown. We got there during a busy weekend day & parking was difficult. We had trouble finding the garage door remote (hint: look for it hanging on a hook by the front door), but didn't need it as the building code worked on the key pad to open the garage door (hint: there are lots of codes for this secure building. Be sure to put them in your phone or write them down). Another bonus - the AV system has a DVR and my husband was able to record the Bronco game so that we could do a long bike ride & he could catch up on the game when we got back (and I went shopping). Another hint: the Denon receiver is actually in a kitchen pantry on the other side of the wall. We will definitely say here again when we definitely come back to Durango. We only scratched the surface on exploring the town & the surrounding sights.

It's great security, but it seems a bit of overkill in small town Mayberry/Durango. Parking in Durango is indeed at a premium, so having underground parking in the building is awesome, and another great security element. Anyway, so glad your stay went well and we'll look forward to you coming back. We hope the new universal remote was helpful during your visit to work all the electronics. Not as described. This is not a 2 bdrm as advertised. It's 1 master bdrm with a small rm.

So called 2nd bdrm is too small for a bed. There isn't any furniture other than the bed head and foot board. Less than 12 " from end of bed to window. 1 nightstand and a computer monitor that is advertised as a flat screen, approximately 9". 1 closet full of toys and the othet had a chest of drawers in it. So no hanging space for clothes.

Parking is not very good either. We were told to park in the guest spaces, only 4 or 5. 1 filled with bikes. Spaces for the unit filled with a porche and bmw and motorcycle.

Bed in master is approximately 40" off the flr. Only 1 step laddar for it.

Also, we wish you would have let us know during your stay if there were any issues, though we understand that's not the first thing you're likely interested in while you're trying to enjoy your time away. We're never satisfied if our guests are dissatisfied, and we've been renting this condo for a very long time with many many happy guests. That said, we value your comments and hope you'll reach back out to us. The photos of the condo are taken exactly as it exists with no intent to mislead at all. Parking in this building is plentiful. We live in the building and have never had a parking problem for our guests or ourselves. Again, very sorry that your visit did not live up to your expectations. Upate on this review: Just as a follow-up - we have not heard back from this guest, though we've reached out to try to understand their concerns and offer compensation for their experience.
