Peaceful, relaxing, convenient!
This South Waterfront condo provides a combination of the joy and vacation atmosphere of the Willamette River site. With a direct connection to the excitement and hustle of the city via the famous colorful Portland streetcars, you can visit Portland University, the Cultural District, and the Pearl District with its fine restaurants, art galleries and theatre. Then head up to the 23rd street neighborhood with its quaint restaurants and many specialty shops. Finally, return home to the peace and tranquility of the river to just relax and enjoy. No need to use a car.
This condo was furnished for my personal use with designer furnishings - Italian glass and leather dining table, leather couch with matching swivel chair, leather recliner, etc. It is fully supplied and ready for your enjoyment!

We rented in this area to be walkable to our daughter and son in law and new baby. Perfect location for us. There are several restaurants in the area and even a little convenience store for the occasional, needed snacks. Coffee shop steps away too. Streetcar is nearby too for a ride downtown. A convenience we enjoyed was ordering our groceries online and having thrm delivered. We used whole foods, Fred meyer, and new seasons. Also can ride the streetcar downtown to whole foods. We got our steps in by walking along the Willamette River in both directions. If you walk towards downtown, there's a few places along the way to grab a snack or lunch or a coffee.
The condo itself is a very nice. Looks out over the river. I enjoyed seeing the rowers, paddleboarders and kayakers. Condo had every thing we needed. Very roomy too.
Mary, the condo owner, is a very nice lady. We chatted beforehand to get to know each other. And was always available with any questions I had.
Would definitely rent from Mary again.
Location, location, location
Excellent location for recovering from stem cell replacement. I was required to be up at OHSU 2-3 times per week and stay near the hospital. The tram was a perfect mode of transportation. The condo is as advertised, no big surprises. If you are looking for a good breakfast spot we recommend Buffalo Gap....not much to look at but food is excellent. Enjoy your stay.
We stayed in Mary's condo for 2 1/2 months from November 2, 2015 to January 15, 2016. The unit was in excellent condition and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The concierge at the Meriwether building was very helpful and friendly.
The location is excellent. It is closer to the city center but yet far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle. The Portland streetcar, Max and bus lines are all very close and easy walking distance. We bought Trimet passes that allowed us to use buses, street cars and the MAX train and use them often. However, I found it easy to walk into downtown Portland in about 30 to 45 minutes depending on where in the city I was going Dan did this when the weather permitted. The north-south street car comes fairly often and you can get to a number of excellent restaurants in both southwest and northwest Portland. By walking a little farther to the Tillicnm Crossing bridge you can get streetcars, buses and MAX train that will take you to the east side of town as well as more locations in Portland's city center.
Mary was very responsive and helpful.
The Perfect VRBO!
My husband and I loved this VRBO! It was decorated beautifully and supplied with everything we needed. The location is amazing with streetcar access right near by. The view of the river and downtown was lovely. We honestly hated to leave and I will definitely try to stay there again. The owner is easy to get ahold of and so very helpful in answering any questions and accommodating your needs. The concierge is friendly and helpful. So convenient to pick things up at a very well stocked little store right below…you'd be hard pressed to find a better place in the South Waterfront area as well as being so close to the downtown by streetcar (such fun to ride) to enjoy all Portland has to offer.
I love this condo! This is the second year I have rented it for 4 months. It is very comfortable and has everything you need and more. The view is great of downtown Portland and the River. The owner is very responsive to any of your needs or needed repairs. A great respite from the heat of Arizona.
Best location in portland
We lived in this amazing condo for eight months. It more than met our expectations. Gorgeous views of the river and downtown Portland. The streetcar is just steps away. The south waterfront is a very vibrant area. We loved walking along the river and enjoying the different restaurants. The dry cleaners within feet of the building entrance are the best. There is a small market in the same block. The owner of the condo is wonderful. She was always available if we had a question or problem. The concierge very attentive. It is a wonderful place to stay. Treat yourself to the "best place in Portland".
