Beautifully renovated apartment, fully equipped. Completely new: washer, dryer, fridge, stove, micro-wave, kitchenware, bed, linens, fold-out couch, flat-screen television, everything. Bathroom includes clawed-foot tub. The 30 square meter terrace with it's barbeque is a good place to spend time so you can have a feel of the neighborhood.
This apartment is located near the Atwater market, one minute away from the Lachine canal, which is the highway of choice for whoever doesn't travel by car. Within 2 kilometers of the apartment, all on the canal, you can rent a bike, a pedal boat, a kayak, an electric boat, you can ride in a dragon boat, and in the winter, you can even walk, ice skate and snowshoe on the canal.
You get the best of both worlds by being in this small urban borough mere minutes away from action packed Downtown. A seven minute walk takes you to the Place St-Henri metro, so you can be downtown within 10 minutes, to get to the busiest part of our city, where shops, restaurants and clubs are waiting for you to discover them.

Trying to take care of my surroundings, I've been upgrading this property since it's acquisition, implementing solar panels to heat the hot water, radiant flooring system, rain water recuperation, and building and driving my electric car.

This is a quiet neighborhood where it's nice to spend time on the terrace. Being partly among the trees, you forget how close to downtown you really are. If you like the outdoors, we've got the biggest playground just a minute away: The lachine Canal and it's bike path.

Very nice host and good home
The neighborhood was quite and very near to the train station. The home is a old home but very well maintained. Sometimes we did get the smoking smell in the living room. The house was good for 4 people. The owner was very nice person and was very patient when I had issues with my payment. I don't think you would find such a nice owner. He did help us with our luggage as well. Very nice person

Anyone considering renting this property should be aware of the improvement works which are taking place immediately outside it. We were awoken at 7am on more than half of the 14 days of our vacation by VERY NOISY construction work and traffic. We contacted the property owner, Nicolas, who said he could do nothing about this and had little or no knowledge about when the works were taking place. This is not true as there are at least two signs located within 30 feet of the apartment which state that the work will be taking place from 19/6/17 (the date of our arrival) until 11/8/18. I have photographic evidence of this. These appear to be part of major works within St Henri town centre which are scheduled for completion in September 2017. Nicolas must have been aware of the works as he appears to live at least part of the week in the next door property. When we pressed the owner on this point he stated that we were obviously unhappy with the apartment and he offered us a 50% refund for the remainder of our stay. This derisory not to say insulting offer did not deserve a reply. It is clear that the owner has put income/profit before our enjoyment of our holiday. His failure to inform us of the road/construction works completely spoiled our holiday which we had saved for over a couple of years. It is my intention to contact the authorities responsible for the licensing of this property to complain about the actions of this landlord in this instance. I have no doubt that they will be extremely apologetic about the situation.

Clean and comfortable. No problems. Nice deck and balcony. Host was pleasant and helpful. We would return.
A lovely, comfortable apartment in a thriving area
My husband and I visited Montreal in celebration of our 20th anniversary. We were so fortunate to find the lovely St. Marguerite apartment. The flat is very clean and cozy, with everything you need for a comfortable and active stay in Montreal. The neighborhood is close to a number of new restaurants, the metro, and a bustling market. We'll be sure to stay there again when we return to Montreal!
Cozy, homey place to stay
Loved it - cute patio, adorable claw foot bathtub and only a mile to the shops. Nicolas was very responsive and easy to work with.
Located just meters away from the Lachine Canal bike path, you can go for kilometers be it by foot, rollerblade, bike, canoe, kayak, electric boat, even ice skates and cross-country skis in the winter, you choose.

Or Use this site's payment method by credit card. Full amount is paid at booking. All deposits/payments are refundable if reservation is cancelled at least 30 days in advance. No refund after that.
