My wife and I, along with my Cousin and his family, have been enjoying both winter skiing and summer activities in Breckenridge for years. After looking at houses each summer, we finally found the perfect house that is ideal for every season and decided to partner on the home.

What makes this house unique

Enjoy the easy walk to Main St. with all the shopping, restaurants and nightlife. It is a short walk to Carter Park and the great sledding hill. Beautiful view overlooking the Historic District and downtown Breckenridge, with convenient location and quiet surroundings.

Quiet street with easy access to downtown and onsite PARKING!

The home was extremely nice but the location we feel was it's top feature. The house is located towards the end of a dead end street. Very little traffic to deal with and it has a nice quiet neighborhood feel. Our 8 year old grand-daughter made a friend which was an added plus!. The people in the neighborhood were friendly and very helpful. Just 100 yards from a hiking trail and 4 blocks from downtown.

Another location benefit, from our experience, is the onsite parking. Breckenridge has visitor parking issues but not at this location. Adequate parking is provided which alleviated the inconvenience of parking in the visitor lot and walking back to house. This alone made us pick this house as a top favorite!

The layout of the house was extremely conducive for our group. As a family of chefs we enjoyed cooking in the well supplied kitchen with it's great space. And with the proximity to downtown it was easy to walk to town for a bite or necessities. A great grocery store just 2 blocks away. The washer and dryer is useful and very convenient. The bedrooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable with soft bedding. The master bedroom, located on the top floor, has a stupendous view of the mountains, nice large closet and privacy.

The master bath has a deep soaking tub/shower for sore muscles. The dining room, connected to kitchen, has a table large enough for 6 -8 guests. There is also an island with stools for overflow seating. A gas grill on the front porch which we used 2 nights and sat outside for appetizers and drinks to enjoy the cool evening breeze. The furnishings in the house are gorgeous and well maintained.

You can't go wrong with this one folks! If we are lucky enough that this house is available for our trip next year, we will definitely book it!

Just a side note...the owners are very easy to work with, very responsive and accommodating. Made us feel right at home!

Good location, enjoyed our visit.

Home was clean and had ample room, even with a party of 8. Owners were very generous in getting us a blow up mattress for the additional bed. Kitchen is well stocked with pans and everything needed to make some great meals. Outside grille came in handy. Speaker sound system was great for music. No problem parking two SUV's. Location is a few blocks from downtown. We had unseasonably warm weather so furnished fans were not enough to cool home, but other than that, very pleasant experience.

What a great place. Well equipped with all we could need. Would love to go back for sure. Maybe a spring trip this time !!

Just a couple things that we noticed .. Not really the space to put our snow clothes when coming into the house, the parking was real tight with the downstairs being rented out and really dark climbing stairs at night time.

Nice home

The house was as advertised and in excellent condition. The location is uphill from Main Street/downtown by about 6 blocks. Kitchen was well equipped and very usable. Downstairs bedroom is kind of tight (Queen bed). Upstairs rooms were larger. Only consistent complaint from my family was poor lighting; in the living room there was only one pedestal/reading lamp and no overhead and one small bedside light in downstairs bedroom. Outside, there is no light on the stairs coming up from the driveway; not a good thing since it's pretty dark and snow/ice covered. Only other complaint was the lack of hooks/coathooks to hang ski clothing (jackets/helmets/masks/etc). Quick and easy drive to the gondola lifts (maybe 5 minutes). Food options in town were very good and surprisingly reasonably priced for a resort town. Excellent, timely responses from leasing agent when contacted.

Owner's Response: Thank you David for your review we will see what we can do about the lighting in the living room and on stairs outside. The downstairs bedroom is a little tight, but we decided that people would enjoy a King size bed in that room rather than a Queen size for sleeping comfort. Really great value

located about 6 block from downtown we found ourselves walking to a number of great restaurants, parks and coffee shops. The house was furnished with everything needed for our weeks stay, except food. Really nice and the youngsters enjoyed the entertainment equipment on a daily basis. A great place to visit and a really nice home.
