Enjoy our 1200 sqft Luxury dockside Penthouse, with 2 full bedrooms plus den / 3rd bedroom, with 2 decks, floor to ceiling windows, 270 degree views to south and west. Tastefully decorated in 2010 with all new furniture with high end fixtures, with granite, bamboo and glass. Also enjoy private access to the 4,000 sq foot rooftop deck garden, with views in all directions.

Living room and dining area have sweeping views, from the Inner Harbour and Empress Hotel to the southeast, stretching over the city to the mountains and water to the west. Luxury leather furnishings, large flat screen HD TV with blu-ray and stereo, iPod dock. Complimentary high speed wireless internet, and telephone with free long distance to anywhere in Canada or the USA.

Gourmet Kitchen has top of the line stainless steel appliances, beautiful granite counters, large island, all new cookware and table settings.

Master Bedroom has a King Size bed, expansive views over the Inner Harbour and city to the south, HDTV, iHome with iPod dock, and full en-suite bathroom with tub and separate shower. Hair dryer provided.

Second bedroom has queen size bed, full en-suite bath, and private balcony and deck chairs looking west to the mountains and Juan de Fuca strait. iHome with iPod dock.

Den has a pullout couch with extra thick comfortable double mattress and working desk.

Main deck features views to south and west, full size Broil King propane BBQ and patio furniture.

On site artisan Bakery, Caffe Fantastico gourmet coffee shop and micro roastery. We have lived in Victoria for many years, and love living here so much that we leapt at the chance to buy this condo - right on the edge of downtown, with great views, as well as peace and quiet. We hope to retire there someday, but for now we hope people will come and enjoy our condo as though it were their own, and grow to love Victoria as much as we do.

Why Jane Mathieson chose Victoria

We chose to buy this unit in one of the world's most advanced energy friendly project - Dockside Green - to take advantage of the beautiful location on the edge of downtown of one of the world's top vacation destinations with the thought of eventually retiring there. Dockside Green is a unique 15-acre master planned harbour front community built for true environmental sustainability. The project has won numerous international awards for its 'green' design, recognized as a LEED Platinum certified project, the highest possible rating. The complex is located on the waterside downtown walkway, and the famous regional Bike Trail - the 'Galloping Goose'. This is the ideal location for enjoying everything Victoria has to offer.

Visiting Victoria-You'll want to stay here

Lovely place to stay. Easily accommodates 2 couples. Comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Amaxzing views of mountains and Victoria's working harbour. Grocery store, bakery, coffee shop and restaurant just steps away. Easy walk tho the center of town.

Stayed here for 8 days in June. Everything was perfect!

We traveled to Vicroria to watch our son play summer ball for the Victoria Harbourcats! The condo sleeps 5 very comfortably. There was plenty of space and privacy for all. The views were fabulous and alot of thought and care went into all the furnishings. We were there for 8 days and we wish we could have stayed longer. We would highly recommend this place and would love to stay again sometime. Thank you Jane and son Ian for EVERYTHING!

Perfect Location for Exploring Victoria

The penthouse is very well represented in the VRBO listing and comments. Clean, modern, spacious with a truly magnificent view of Point Hope and the harbor. It is a great location. The beds are excellent. The kitchen is very nicely furnished. Jane is gracious & prompt. Perfect is an overused word these days, but I can't think of a better term to describe our stay.

Beautiful condo, perfect location.

This condo is just as spectacular as the pictures look. Views of the Harbor and shipyard were beautiful . We had fun watching a ship being taken out of dry dock. The condo is right on the Galoping Goose trail, great for walking and biking. It's an easy walk to downtown. Wonderful restaurants within walking distance. The kitchen had everything we needed. The owner was a pleasure to work with. We will be back!

Perfect for a girls' getaway weekend

Thank you Jane for a wonderful weekend celebrating my mom's birthday. Lots of room for all of us girls to stretch out and relax. Unit is well equipped and within easy distance walking or driving to downtown. I would recommend a car though as there is so much to see in the area within a few minutes drive. Loved all the windows and the views. Only problem we had with the unit was the lack of lighting around the dining table at night. We played cards in the evenings and it was difficult to see. Even if the dining room light was lifted higher it would help.

beautiful apartment with great view

This was a beautiful place to stay at during our trip to Victoria. We were able to enjoy the comforts of a beautiful penthouse and look at the beautiful views at morning and during the night. The house was comfortable and well-furnished and we appreciated being able to be close to downtown Victoria. Overall a great place to stay!
