Lots of windows with views of ocean

  • 4 of 5

we really liked the view of the ocean from all of the windows. you do overlook the roof line and trees but the hear the ocean while sleeping was very nice. Having 4 ceiling fans and windows everywhere helped cool the place down and made it very lovely.

the sand has unfortunately very low, so when you walked to the side of the home you were unable to get direct beach access, but just walking down a couple a bit you could get to the beach and it was wonderful. Plus all the beach around the home were fabulous.

we enjoyed our stay and would do it again!

Great restaurants and shopping in Halewia plus we did a helicopter ride out of Turtle Bay that was simply amazing.

Beautiful view, relaxing stay

  • 5 of 5

We really loved the view and sounds of the beach from this bright and well-appointed place. It is small but has everything you need to enjoy your stay-beach towels, a boogie board, beach chairs, umbrella, kitchen and basic supplies. We were easily able to make our own breakfast here each day and then were out the rest of the day. There's no a/c but the many windows and the ocean breezes keep it comfortable (although it might be hot if you first arrive in the afternoon as we did, it will cool off in the evening and then stay comfortable with the windows open). Great experience!

Perfect ocean front beach cottage

  • 5 of 5

Cottage was extremely clean, well equipped and quiet. The only noise you hear is the soothing sounds of the waves crashing and that was priceless! What a great way to go to sleep at night and wake up in the morning. The constant ocean breeze was also refreshing and the ocean views from the cottage was breathtaking. Parking is out on the street but we never had a problem finding a spot nearby. The beach access from the property was limited due to the lower portion of the steps appearing to be washed away from the waves but access to the beach is only a short walk down the street so it really did not cause any inconvenience. The location is perfect for the north shore as it is close to so many enjoyable places and activities; Shark Cove, Turtle Beach, Turtle Bay Resort, Pipeline, historic Haleiwa and a multitude of food trucks and eatery's just to name a few. I would highly recommend this place and would have no problem staying here again.

My Second Home

  • 5 of 5

This was my second time staying there and it was just as incredible as the first! It was quite warm on the island that week but the ceiling fans, along with the trade winds, kept it quite comfortable. I love how open and spacious it feels and that there are so many windows so you can watch the waves and the sunset. It's especially fun that you can see out while you shower! There are stairs to the beach just steps from the front door unless a storm rolls in and washes them away, it happens, so you might have to walk around via the street, which was the case on my first stay, but you're in paradise so who really cares! I love that there's a full kitchen so you can stock up at Foodland a few miles away and save money on meals. It's a perfect place to enjoy if you don't want to see anyone and just escape the crazy life but you can also pop into Haleiwa for shopping and restaurants but don't forget about the food trucks at Sharks Cove! I was able to have my family over for dinner at sunset which was spectacular as well as driving down to Pearl Harbor and even catching a movie in Mililani. There is no doubt I will be back again and again! Super cozy!

economical ocean view in paradise

  • 5 of 5

My wife and i really enjoyed this place. The view of the ocean was decent and the sounds of the waves were great. It is a nice location between Sunset Beach and Pipeline. Parking was just fine on road outside gate. It is a nice leisurely walk of about 200' from car to studio. There are stairs going up to studio so keep that in mind. Place was nice and appointed just right for our needs. We toured the island from there, took walks around the area and enjoyed the Thai truck right across the street by the Chevron. If you are looking for a place with a view of the ocean and direct access to beach (approx 100' walk), this place is great. If you want a deck, grass and seating to sit and look at the ocean, then its not. We would stay here again.
