Drop your skis and boots at Silver Lake Village and walk on snow cleared sidewalks 3 blocks to the Upper Deer Valley Parking lot. You can also catch the free Park City bus for a lift up to the lodge at 10 minutes after the hour and 40 minutes after the hour. Parking available at Upper Deer Valley or park underground at the Chateaux. The view from the Enclave units is spectacular, view Deer Valley and Park City ski runs, enjoy the floor to ceiling fireplace in our vaulted ceiling living room. Kick back on our new sofa that has (2) built in recliners. We also have a separate recliner and a queen sleeper in the living room. Our 52" Sony is equipped with Comcast HD cable along with Comcast 55MB high speed secured network. If you are too tired to cook, you can walk to Silvelake and have dinner at Royal Street Cafe, or Zagat rated Cafe Mariposa, or maybe you want a romantic dinner at Stein's Lodge, or the famous Goldener Hirsch. You can drive a few miles to Empire Canyon Lodge or the newly released Hotel Montage.
This is fun recently remodeled kitchen and 2 bedroom 2.5 bath townhome, 1,760 sq feet. The views and location are unbeatable. The master has 2 sinks and a steam shower with plenty of closet space and drawers are also in the bedroom. The guest bedroom has a tub/shower and sink separate from the bedroom. The TV is enclosed in a TV cabinet and we can put a twin bed in this room to accommodate a total of 3 people in this bedroom or the bed can be moved upstairs. Just let us know where you want the bed and our property manager will have it placed prior to your arrival. Wood burning fireplace and gas starter and all wood is provided on the upper deck. You can park on top where there are 8 spots or you can park below in the underground parking garage. You are minutes from Park City and the Canyons but skiing Deer Valley with our location makes it so easy. Checking your skis and boots overnight are no charge (boots as long as you ski the next day) so walk up on the sidewalk and stretch a bit and get ready for a great day of skiing. Walk home or walk thru Stein's Lodge and have some Apres Ski, and enjoy a brand new bar with TV's and great views of the mountain and friendly people. Lunch is served at Silver Lake Village till 3PM and Stein's has the most fabulous buffet in the world. Gotta try it. We love Deer Valley and you will too.

My name is John Tredent, my wife and I co-own this Enclave #5 unit with a well known sports broadcaster and manage the property for both of us. We have been coming to Deer Valley since the mid 80's and loved it so much that we bought this great unit in 2005. The location is great as we walk up to Silver Lake Village and walk home. Deer Valley makes it easy for you as they check your skis and boots at the Lodge. Deer Valley keeps getting better every year, and we can't wait till ski season every year.

We have been coming to Deer Valley since our children were young and we wanted to keep coming up and getting the family together to ski every year. We also hope our children will continue the times we had and bring their families and friends.
We enjoy skiing, and not ever having to leave the condo, we either cook at night and watch TV with the family or we drive up to Royal Street Cafe or Cafe Mariposa and have a sit down dinner with some of the finest cuisine in any ski resort. We like being with our friends and family at the condo and just skiing hard and crashing and getting up and doing it again.
My family and I have been coming to Deer Valley for nearly fifteen years. We have stayed at Enclave #5 for the past five or so years. We love Deer Valley, and especially like staying at John's town home. John's unit is very comfortable, clean and has ample space for our family. It is located in Silver Lake which I find to be one of the nicest parts of the resort. The unit is two blocks from the slopes, but if you don't want to walk there, the Park City Bus stop is literally outside your door. I have gotten to know John over the years, and consider him a good friend and a great owner. He is very responsive to the few needs or questions I have had over the years, and his property manager, Tim, lives right down the street. It doesn't get any better or convenient than that. I highly recommend renting John's unit if you plan on coming to Deer Valley, but please check with me first, so we don't have a conflict with the weeks we choose.
We stayed for little under a week in John's house over spring break. We are a family of 5. Our oldest son slept in the living room upstairs on the unusually comfortable sleeper sofa. He enjoyed that. All the beds are very comfortable and there are lots of pillows and blankets. The rooms in the condo are large and open but still super cozy. Big TV and fireplace. Great views from big panoramic windows both from living room and bedroom. The kitchen is well outfitted, functional and new. We cooked most of our meals there. All the bathrooms are nice but especially the master bath with a steam shower and floor heater.
The place is easy to get to and there is a big parking garage under the complex, but we preferred to park on the street behind the condos. It was a little easier to enter from there and I wish we had parked there when we arrived late at night with all our luggage.
The location is really great. A short walk (8 minutes) from Silver Lake and ski lifts. There are sidewalks all the way. You can store your skis and boots there so you don't have to carry them back and forth every day.
John was very helpful and easy to communicate with. All in all, it was an excellent experience and we will come back again.

The unit was well appointed, clean and in a very convenient location in the Siver Lake area of the Deer Valley resort. There is really nothing critical about the unit that we can think of. The owner was extremely accommodating and easy to deal with. We would definitely rent it again.
We decide at the last minute to go to meet up with some friends in deer valley. This was a great economical choice. It’s a 2 block walk to Silver Strike Lodge, but with the free ski and boot storage at the lodge it was really easy. As mentioned in the other reviews John is amazing. A world of knowledge. The only thing we can say we truly missed was a hot tub. We enjoyed our stay otherwise.
Spent another wonderful week at Enlcave #5. As allways, owner super easy to work with, helpful with hints, etc. Condo is in pristine condition, as announced. This is my second rental of this one property, will certainly do it again.
