We had a great ski weekend at Snowline Chalet! The house is in a great spot, with privacy, yet right around the corner from the Clubhouse and pool. Easy walk to Chair 9 for dinner and drinks. Downstairs area is open and makes a great spot for hanging out/playing games (some fun games are provided, but no movies...so bring your own as that's all you can watch-unless we just couldn't figure out the TV). Downstairs bathroom serves as a great gear room. Hot tub is nice! Foosball upstairs is a fun addition. Two bedrooms with private bathrooms AND an additional "room" with two full beds (1trundle) and a twin...lots of sleeping options. Speaking of sleep, the sheets ate dreamy. Awesome pad!
This was our second visit using luxury vacation getaways and both times the houses exceeded our expectations. They are very clean, well stocked as far as kitchen supplies, the furniture is fresh and up-to-date, and the houses are extremely quiet and peaceful. It is the best location you can get right at the entrance to the national Forest. We've got all four seasons. The summer is outstanding hiking, and in the winter there skiing and snowshoeing.
The house had everything we needed and was perfect for our group. Would recommend and even stay here again in the future. The hot tub may have been over-chlorinated, which may impact folks with sensitive skin.
We had a wonderful time at Snowline over the holidays. The house is very nice and great for a group of up to 8 people. There are 2 beautiful bedrooms with en suite bathrooms as well as a nice bunk bed area in a common room on the second floor where the bedrooms are. The layout of the living room / kitchen area is nice and open and welcoming. Nice fireplaces in the house and just nice overall feel. Hot tub is great after a long day on the mountain. Speaking of the mountain, you are as close as you can get to Baker. Will definitely stay again.
I live in Seattle and was in Chelan WA for the week on vacation before headed to Anacortes WA to whale watch Saturday 9/3. This place was a short 1.5 hour drive from Anacortes. We got in about 11pm and finding and getting access to the place was very easy and convenient. The place is very comfortable and luxurious. The hot tub was the highlight of my trip as the weather wasn't great but could have been worse. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who simply needs to get out of the city and just wants to relax, hike, sight see, eat amazing food across the St. at the Chair 9 restaurant. WE WILL BE BACK
My wife, myself and our two dogs stayed here in late July for a long weekend. The house was a great place to stay in every respect. It is close to hiking of all sorts, including trails that start right in the Snowline neighborhood, and an easy drive to other areas on this side of the mountain. We hiked during the day and enjoyed the hot-tub and local restaurants in the evening... the house was an ideal place to come home to. With just the two of us we didn't use the second bed room at all; there is ample room for another couple. The beds and linens were comfortable and clean; the kitchen we really well equipped. There is no cell reception but the wi-fi was fine so that wasn't a problem. We would definitely return for a future visit.
