La Sirene is a long low bungalow of contemporary design. Modern sculptures and artworks by world-famous artists adorn both indoors and outdoors.
Contemporary furnishing is by LigneRoset of France.
The house overlooks the magnificent Turks & Caicos Banks and 10 ft windows showcase the cerulean blues of the sea.
Set into the hillside on a 1.4 acre estate, at 25 ft elevation and 60ft back from the shore, the house is surrounded by indigenous plants and lush tropical gardens. The property is gated and has full security protection.
La Sirene is designed for outdoor tropical living - it faces directly into the cooling ESE tradewinds. In addition to the infinity edge swimming pool, jacuzzi and sea access, 5 outside decks(3 shaded) are perfect for sunbathing, dining or stargazing. Besides 3 outside dining areas there is also a covered bar area and a gas-fired barbecue. Ample sunbeds, seating and loungers are provided. A full-size court is great for family Boule (Petanque) competitions.
The fully equipped kitchen and lovely indoor dining space offer an alternative to dining al fresco. Kitchen, dining area, and entertainment corner combine to create one great room with a spectacular view over the ocean, 2 distant headlands and 3 little cays.
The main house has a bedroom at each end. The master bedroom has a king bed, ensuite bathroom, and overlooks the infinity edge pool. The second bedroom can be made up as two twin beds or one king and adjoins the second bathroom (including tub). This room has its own outside door to the garden with a hammock nearby to enjoy. All guests may slip out to enjoy the morning serenity without disturbing others.
The third bedroom is in a detached annex with its own entry, ensuite bathroom, mini kitchen, and laundry facilities. It is just perfect for a nanny - or persons that want extra privacy or late sleeping options. All bedrooms have flatscreen TVs, fans and AC.
The house is on the south shore of Provo - 8 minutes drive from Turtle Cove Marina and the world-famous Grace Bay beach. There is everything that tourists need - spas, shops, restaurants, fitness centres, water sports, and other services including major supermarkets and a cinema.
Nearer to home there are 2 dive operations just 2 minutes drive away, and it is only a 5 minute walk to Flamingo lake, the premier bone-fishing spot on Provo.
We provide 2 seagoing kayaks, and you can snorkel right off the shore - water is 3-4 feet deep at the shore (access is by ladder or steps carved into the iron-shore). The seabed is firm white sand and slopes out to about 6 ft deep. We frequently see rays, conch and other marine life.
Birdwatching is exotic - humming birds, red hawks, mocking birds, herons etc are in the garden and we often see ospreys and long-tailed tropic birds over the sea.
With its seclusion, beauty and serenity, La Sirene is ideal for weddings, honeymoons or yoga retreats as well as just 'chilling out'.

We, the owners, are from Norway and England. We lived and worked in 9 countries around the world prior to building our dream retirement villa in Turks and Caicos in 2000. We are permanent residents of TCI.
Mrs.Siri White, Mr.roger white. purchased this villa in 2000
We love the location - the best panoramic views on Island yet total privacy. House is oriented to utilise the cooling tradewinds. Caribbean climate is wonderful, never too hot or cold. Lifestyle is laid back yet sophisticated. Internet WiFi and cable TV allow us to stay in touch with the 'real world'.
Healthy climate, joy and wellbeing.
Intense feeling of being one with nature, secluded & private, yet shopping, restaurants and nightlife are only minutes away.
Sirene doesn't begin to describe this amazing villa. We just returned from one of our most relaxing vacations ever....and it was due mostly to this wonderful home. Thank you Roger and Siri! While it took 8-10 minutes to drive from the villa to the main highway because much of the road was unpaved and you had to drive slow...it was worth it. This was our first trip to TCI and we could not have picked a better location for privacy and quiet. This is all about outdoor living at it's best. The views were stunning and we looked forward to coming home every day from the beach and having cocktails by the infiniti pool. I could stare at that ocean for days and never get sick of it. We talked about how incredibly lucky the owners were to have established such a wonderful home in the perfect location! The home is very comfortable and outfitted with everything you need. Plenty of towels and kitchen items (we did not cook...too many great restaurants to try!) Since it was very very hot during our stay, we purchased a beach umbrella and left it behind for other guests to use. It was also very windy and were unable to take the kayaks out as well as swim off the back of the property. All the more reason to come back! It is important to note that air conditioning can become expensive if left on all day. We only turned it on to sleep and dress for dinner. The gardens around the house are beautiful and got to meet the "resident" kitty! A stray dog also showed up couple of times and ate all the cat food...still don't know how he got in with the gate closed! Since Roger and Siri were out of town, Jeano met us at the airport and was a wealth of information! Thank you again for the use of the house...we continue to dream about coming back one day!
After spending the last two weeks at La Sirene we can’t imagine a more perfect place to stay. As far as we’re concerned it has everything. The house is beautifully designed and appointed and has every facility one could wish for. Roger and Siri appreciate fine art and the house reflects their good taste in its architecture, decoration, paintings and sculptures. The house is entirely private and has its own access to the sea for swimming, snorkelling and kayaking. We particularly enjoyed watching the sun come up when we were having our early morning swim in the infinity pool. The trade winds keep the house well aired and bug-free. During our stay we explored the entire island and although we saw many more lavish properties, we didn’t see any which had such a perfect balance of comfort, facilities, privacy and relaxation. And the view from the top of the drive took our breath away every time we returned.
PS. The kite surfing at Long Bay Beach was brilliant!
Perfect house to escape the hustle of the more crowded Grace Bay. Roads are a challenge but once you arrive it's worth it. An early issue with a water pump but it was quickly corrected by the property manager. Brought a massage therapist out from a local spa and spent most days enjoying the infinity pool, hottub and constant cool breeze. Never even needed the air conditioning . Will definitely book this property again.
In the Divine Comedy Dante and Virgil have to go through Hell and climb the Mount of Purgatory to get to the Earthly Paradise, but all we had to do was take a plane from Toronto. And La Sirene really is an earthly paradise: the the villa itself is beautiful both inside and out; it is surrounded by lush and colourful gardens; and it offers magnificent views of the classically turquoise water of the Caribbean, not least from the jacuzzi on the hillside between the villa and the water. I could go on for paragraphs about all the things that we enjoyed during our stay at La Sirene, but I will mention only a few: the villa is brilliantly laid out and furnished with chairs and sofas that are both elegant and extremely comfortable; the kitchen is perfectly arranged and contains everything that any cook could possibly need; the bathrooms are crisply modern and impeccably clean; the beds are cosy and the bedding both elegant and appropriate to the climate; the bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans that make air conditioning utterly unnecessary; the infinity pool is excellent for doing laps, and the sea/ocean is easy to enter and exit down either a ladder or a flight of stairs. And then there is the art -- an eclectic array of paintings and sculptures that delight the eye and continually intrigue. We did not just dread leaving La Sirene, we never left except to shop, primarily at the superb IGA ten minutes away and Caicos Bakery in Port of Call (which is run by a young couple from Paris) so that we could avoid going out for dinner (we succeeded) and enjoy the villa to the utmost. Finally, the owner of La Sirene, Roger (alas we did not meet Siri), is the most genial host one can possibly imagine -- thoughtful, generous, and never intrusive, but always eager to provide advice and deal quickly with any problem that might arise. We have been fortunate enough to stay in several villas in the Caribbean and elsewhere over the years, and La Sirene takes the gold for its location, its practicality, its beauty, and its serenity (or is that Sirenity?).
The Owner, Roger couldn't have been nicer and more hospitable, not only meeting us at the airport, but escorting us to the rental car agency and then to the house. From the moment you descend the driveway to the house the panoramic ocean views take your breath away. The house, while modest in size, takes full advantage of the site and is perfectly situated on a private lot with spectacular 180 degree plus views. A welcome bottle of local rum with chips and salsa set the tone of our stay. The layout of the house is perfect for three couples, with everyone getting privacy and ocean views. Fully equipped for just about everything (including a power outage that left the whole island dark for hours), La Sirene has everything one would want for a week or month stay. The pool and hot tub were only upstaged by the sublime ocean below where one can swim or snorkel on calm days when the wind wasn't blowing. Roger was available for any questions and help and really made our stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend this property for guests looking for the ultimate in privacy and quiet seclusion.
My wife and I recently returned from 2 weeks in the Turks and stayed at La Sirene. We have been at the villa before, and on Turtle Tail 10+ times. We really enjoyed La Sirene the privacy and quiet were exactly what we were looking forward too. The view as you pull down the driveway ( you have to forget about the road to the villa) is stunning, the blue water and palm trees is what vacation is all about. We generally stayed at the villia during the day and the kitchen, grill and dining space is very comfortable and could host a dinner party with no problem. The villa was very clean and everything was in working order. The new entry into the ocean made snorkling much easier. We did play golf several times and went to the spas on Grace Bay to break up the week. The IGA is as good as any US grocery, and local fish or lobster was great the the Five Cays fish market, just go after 3 pm. Have a bottle of champagne in the hot tub on a starry night and you to will return. Cheers !
Enjoy a game of boule (petanque) on our new court next to the pool - paddle from own seafront with 2 oceangoing kayaks, bonefish nearby on pristine Flamingo Lake, hike, run, birdwatch, stargaze from the hot tub, observe shorefront glowworms at full moon.
