Located in the center of Vail Village with everything you want or need at your doorstep. Surface parking as well as underground heated parking. Southern exposure with all windows facing the mountain and Gore Creek. You will find Condo is fully equipped to make your stay perfect. Nothing has been overlooked or left out. The Main Vail Gondola, is within walking distance and the bus stop to Lionshead and Goldpeak lifts and ski schools is adjacent to the surface parking lot. If you desire to go to Beaver Creek to ski the transportation center is also a very short walk from our parking lot. Each room individually heated and heated blankets as well as heated bathroom floors and a wood fireplace add to the comfort of your winter stay. In the late spring and summer the outdoor patio, located almost in Gore Creek, and the views of the mountain makes this a perfect spot for lunch, dinner, sunset cocktails, or just relaxing. Add all this to the fact that even though the unit is located in the center of Vail village its location on the Creek, with all windows facing the Creek, allows for a very warm, cozy, noiseless, private, hideaway.
Sales Tax is not charged for bookings of 30 nights, or longer.

Apartment was great, comfortable, very nicely decorated and equipped.
The location is perfect for skiing, just about 6 blocks away from Vail's gondola. We left our skis and boots overnight by the lifts, since we thought it was too much to carry back and forth. The two bedrooms are nicely decorated. There is a trundle bed coming out in the kids room which allowed each 3 kids to have a bed each. It was ok for 3, but no space left at all in their bedroom. The view from every bedroom and living room is stunning since the apartment is at ground level on a beautiful creek. You can even hear the sound of the water from inside. Kitchen is well equipped, it has lots of things, living room/dining room are large and very bright. Nice quiet building in excellent location. Owners are really nice and helpful. Would love to go back next year if we can!!!
Great location wonderful condo!
The Amass' family have a beautiful condo and they are delightful to work with. Their oasis is very homey and they have everything you could possible need.
I would highly recommend this VRBO getaway. We will definitely stay here again.

Lovely private owner's condo in Vail
The Amass' immaculate, fully furnished home is in the heart of Vail, overlooking
Gore Creek, with gorgeous views of the river and mountain from the living room and deck.
An easy 5 minute walk to the gondola, and all of Vail's shopping and restaurants within
walking distance; bus stops outside the front door that access Golden Peak and Lionshead
ski bases; underground parking included; cozy woodburning fireplace in the large living
room. Every amenity we would find in our own home makes this a perfect getaway
spot for winter skitrips or summer holidays.
Bill and Lorie Amass are a delightful couple and gracious hosts. We had a fabulous week,
and will certainly be back for more!

Beautiful place to stay!
This is a large 2 bedroom, three bathroom unit on the ground floor. The windows overlook the river that runs through Vail as well as the slopes. Making a fire and relaxing at the end of the ski day was a highlight. The unit felt private and we never did bother to pull the curtains in the living room.
The kitchen is fully equipped and the bedrooms are nice size. Especially appreciate the heated floors in the bathrooms.
The owner was available for any questions we had and checked up on us to make sure things were OK. His instructions to get to the condo and to get in were explicit so we had no trouble on our first day of arrival finding the place and and accessing the unit. We found the unit comfortable and clean.
Ski lifts are close enough to walk and bus service is right outside the door if going to Lionshead. Also the Vail transportation center is a short walk making a day at Beaver Creek by express bus a snap to get to.
Overall was a great vacation, would do it again!!

Our family of 5 stayed at Bill & Lories' Talisman Condo for 10 days in January 2016, we can not fault our stay. The condo was spacious, well equipped, charming and in an ideal location. As it was our first time to Vail, Bill & Lorie went out of their way to make our stay perfect. We would definately return and have already recommended the condo to our friends.
Hidden Vail Gem!
Just as the other reviewers have stated, this place is the perfect Vail location. I am reluctant to submit my review, as I want to keep this place a secret.
We are a family of 5, with 3 teenage boys. In the past we’ve stayed in resorts and hotels for our annual ski trips. We were tired of renting 2 rooms or spending a fortune on 2/3 bedroom suite. After extensive research, we came across this listing. The Tailsman condo totally exceeded our expectations. We were here over New Years Eve and saw the most amazing fireworks on the mountain.
*Location- Right across from the Solairs ice rink and right next door to the Sonnenalp Hotel (grab a drink Bully Ranch). It is a 5minute flat walk to the Vistabahn Gondola. If you can’t walk 5 minutes to the lift, then maybe you shouldn’t be skiing. We rented and stored our ski/snowboard gear at Ski Haus and Burton, which is located at the lift. I recommend Ski Haus for skiers, as they have very nice equipment and a GREAT staff. Burton is great for snowboarders. If you store at the lift you don’t have to walk or carry your gear. All the best dinning in Vail is a short 5minute walk (Mountain Standard, Sweet Basil, Four Season’s bar, Pepis, Russell’s and many more). If you want to go to Lionshead Village the bus runs right in front of the condo. You DO NOT need a car!
*The Condo- This condo has everything you could possible need. Bill and Lorie have thought of everything! They have nice kitchen equipment, glasses, dinnerware, and soft linens. We are linen snobs and once again they exceeded our expectations. They have humidifiers and heated blankets in each bedroom. The bathrooms are spacious and have heated floors. All 3 of our big teenage boys slept in the 2nd bedroom and were very comfy. One slept on the trundle and the others on the twin and double. There is plenty of room in the bedrooms and foyer to put all your “stuff”. The fireplace was lovely, and there was plenty of wood. They have Comcast cable, Apple TV and a Sonos music system, which we used each night. The view of Gore creek is stunning. We loved listening to the creek at night. They have a nice gas grill on the patio, which we used and worked great.
*The Owners- Bill and Lorie are wonderful to work with. They answered all my crazy questions promptly and with great detail. Bill provided detailed information via email that explained how to get to and into the condo. They have made a beautiful mountain home that is cozy, warm and comfortable!
Located in the center of the Town of Vail and within walking distance of everything. Ski lifts, shops, bus stops, and on and on. Across the street from the Solaris Ice skating rink, theater, CineBistro. Next door to the Sonnenalp Lodge as well as numerous restaurants and bars. We are located in the prime location for your visit to Vail. I guarantee you will not find a more convenient location!
