Casa Brava Extra-Private Modern Architecture in Jungle Setting with big Pacific Ocean Views!
Very Private! Stunning modern very large studio loft apartment located in one of the premier locations, walking distance to fantastic restaurants, shopping, surfing or just sitting at cafes for people watching. Yet the property is just far enough away and totally private to still offer sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, unspoiled jungle, and the quaint village of Sayulita. There is amazing bird watching from the house: the little green parrots, the Black-throated Magpie Jays, Macaws and even Chachalacas ( if you never see one, you'll definitely hear it); these are a few of the 336 species living in the area. Let help arrange for an incredible whale watching tour from December until early March. The tour is led by a research oceanographer who follows their migration patterns up and down the North American coast and knows every whale's name by sight. Hike through the jungle to secluded beaches and picnic before jumping into the surf.
The home was designed by a well known Mexican architect in true contemporary style using concrete and entire walls of glass with wonderful inside/outside feel. Every individual detail was carefully chosen to compliment and enhance the unique and comfortable design...Parota wood accents, custom made furniture, ocean-view shower for two!. The king sized beds feature 600 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, and makes a perfect spot to relax and watch one of the 300 DVD titles in the media library. If you can't completely leave the outside world behind, there is WIFI throughout.
The Studio Loft is perfect for one couple, but the guest house and main house can accommodate six others for a total of eight. Full time English speaking manager will answer your questions and help with all of your needs We also provide housekeeping.

A car isn't necessary but lots of folks do prefer to have a car or rent a golf cart while at the house. You can always get a $5 taxi to the house, day or night... they are waiting on the plaza. Ask us to help arrange transportation from the airport or we really like Gecko Car rental, http://www.geckorentcar.com/ and Europcar, https://www.europcar.com.mx/en/. During the summer months, roads can get slippery in the rain, so golf carts or 4-wheel drive are best. For golf carts, our renters really like Pacific Coast Golf Carts, Gabe Fernandez

Note: Although there have been no reported cases of Zika virus in the area and you are pregnant or considering getting pregnant, please talk to your physician before coming down. As a precaution, we suggest taking out travel insurance.
Also to know, the apartment does not have access to the pool or the VOiP phone but wifi is very good for skype.

Sayulita, like all of Mexico, is a lively town with many traditions and you might be lucky enough to arrive during one of the many festivals. In addition to hearing the waves crash and crickets chirping, you might also hear music, kids playing, the parrots screeching and roosters doing their wake up calls. Please feel free to contact me before booking if you are particularly sensitive to this atmosphere.
We have nothing but fabulous things to say about Dale and Casa Brava! Even before we arrived at this stunning property, we felt at home. Dale was warm and helpful and answered any questions we had from afar and made everything easy. The house is situated on a very steep hill (which at first is alarming). The hike up is worth it, as Casa Brava has a stunning view of Sayulita. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Dale and Felipe, whom were always friendly and accommodating, and a nice bottle of Tequila. We spent just over a week in Sayulita and the word that immediately comes to mind is peace. Everything about Casa Brava is peaceful, relaxing and calming. If you're looking for a place to stay in this hip little town, Casa Brava is the way to go. We had such a great experience that we have already booked another stay in March!
Casa Brava is a beautiful place with an expansive view. Dale, the owner is very available and accommodating as is the staff upon arrival. The location is not for the faint of heart it you're on foot. It's a very steep walk up to Casa Brava but if you rent a car or golf cart it's not an issue. Personally I welcomed the exercise. One other thing of note: the last two weeks of February is a huge celebration in Sayulita. It's very noisy and especially up in the mountains where the place is located. It's a festive time but not a peaceful one so bear that in mind. Other than that I was thoroughly pleased ! Thank you Dale.
My boyfriend and I just spent a week at Casa Brava and couldn't have had a better experience. Dale was an outstanding host, always going over and above to ensure our time in Sayulita was as enjoyable as possible. From little details like the welcome bottle of tequila to lending us a cooler bag for the beach, each day we were made to feel like we were part of the Casa Brava family. Felipe, the property manager, and the rest of the house staff were friendly and incredibly helpful.
The house itself has breathtaking views and beautiful architecture - though be mindful if you have any challenges walking up or down hills. It is quite steep so you may need to rent a golf cart to make the trip a bit easier. We quite appreciated the daily exercise. It meant that we could enjoy more of the amazing food available in town! ;)
This was honestly one of the best vacations we've ever been on. There isn't a single thing I would change about our stay at Casa Brava or our Sayulita experience. Thank you Dale and Felipe! We hope to be back again soon.
Casa Brava is an amazing property! The owner was easy to work with and always available from the day we thought about booking until we got home. The owners provide a very comprehensive and detailed list covering any questions you may have while on your stay. From where to eat, things to do, how to get around, all the way down to what insects to watch out for is covered. We found this guide very helpful. The couple that looks after the property while you are there were very nice and helpful. We spent a few days in the loft portion of Casa Brava as well as a couple of days in the main house. The loft was perfect for us, we would stay there again in a heart beat! The views are amazing. It is the perfect size for a couple looking to spend some time together for a while. The main house is breathtaking, words and pictures don't do it justice. The decor, views, pool, bedrooms and dining areas are all spectacular. The only downside to the main house is that it is so nice that you will find it hard to leave to go do other things that you may have arranged. It's a large space that would be perfect for two couples. The property is only a ten minute walk to the main area of town and the beaches. It is up a steap hill but the views make it worth every step. We always did the walk but don't let the hill deter you, golf carts and taxis are an easy way around this if that might be a problem for you. We liked that it was an easy walk to all the action but far enough away so the noises of everything wouldn't drown out the sound of the ocean and jungle. Can't say enough good things about Casa Brava, we are already checking the calendar for the next time we can make it back.
Ask about last minute rates. Includes all taxes, housekeeping, WIFI, plus unlimited fun! Does not include the customary gratuity for the house staff. Also check out our other properties for larger groups, listing 112927 and listing 74593 to accommodate 2-8 guests.
