St Germain Foster's Lakehouse Private Beautiful Serene Setting

Bedrooms 3
Space 1,938 sq. ft.
Property type house
Minimum Stay 3 - 7 nights

About the property

Cabin, 3 Bedrooms + Den, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6-10)

A heavily wooded winding drive takes you to our remote property. Surrounded by a mix of pines and hardwoods, enjoy over an acre of pristine forest. The drive leads to a large garage with firewood available, bicycles, a bbq grill, yard games, and other items to make your stay fun.

Keep an eye out for nesting bald eagles, great blue heron, wild turkey and common loons. In addition, we've seen countless white tailed deer (there's an albino buck too), red fox, black squirrel, chipmunk, and we've seen signs of black bear.

The Lakehouse itself is a 1970's era Home boasting tongue and groove knotty pine paneling throughout the upper level. A utility room with full size washer/dryer, full bedroom and bathroom along with a great room combining living, kitchen, dining and breakfast bar blends together in a cute, homey Northwoods atmosphere. Furnished for the feel of a cabin, all decorations, seating areas and kitchen essentials are there for your comfort.

The fireplace in the living room is a nice touch on those cooler nights. The sliding glass door opens to an expansive new wrap around deck offering amazing views of the towering pines and the lake beyond.

Little St Germain lake is a 980 acre Class A Musky Lake with over 14 miles of gorgeous shoreline. In addition to Musky, LSG has an abundance of Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye, Crappie and panfish. Our 64 foot pier takes you right out to crystal clear waters where you can moor your boat or just enjoy the beautiful views.

The lakehouse and Little St Germain Lake is our little slice of Heaven. We hope you love it as much as we do.

Great vacation rental!

  • 5 of 5

My family stayed at Foster's for a week in July. The lake house was just what we were looking for! Private, plenty of room, and you can tell the owners really take pride in their home. And Nick at Hiller's Pine Haven who acts as property manager was great to work with! always responds quickly and made sure our vacation was great. We were even able to rent a pontoon from them and they delivered it to the dock when we arrived. We've already booked our week for 2016!

Really nice vacation.

  • 5 of 5

My family of 7 rented Foster's last July. Everything was as pictured and promised. The house was very clean and well-equipped. The manager was excellent, helpful and friendly. He arranged for a pontoon boat for us which was waiting at the dock when we arrived. Foster's is a really good value.

Foster's Lakehouse

  • 4 of 5

Good Morning!

We always love our stay!

Would like to see some "steps" and/or timbers set into the ground for ease of going back and forth

to the dock.

Would appreciate having a window that would open in the dining, living room areas to help the

air circulate across the area better. The patio door does help, but the cross ventilation would

immensely help the air flow especially in the warm months.

Would also appreciate an occasional discount for repeat stays with the same renter. We've been staying at Foster's Lakehouse for 8-9 years.

Thank you!

Thank you.

Owner's Response: We appreciate the great feedback. The fact that you've come back each year for the past 9 years says alot. Improvements to the house are ongoing and we've made upgrades every year. We're especially proud of the new deck. We will continue to improve the house and need to hear from our guests. Thanks again for the wonderful review. The Foster's

Absolutely wonderful!

What a great place! From the meandering lane to the awesome view of the lake, this is a fantastic spot. The kitchen/family room is one big space, and the back porch (overlooking the lake) is huge. I love all the trees on the property, especially the gigantic pine trees. The dock is really big, great for fishing, swimming, or enjoying the sunset. The fire pit was put to good use as well. The rooms are spacious and decorated nicely. The wifi, and pet friendly policy was a huge help for us too. It really is a great place to relax and enjoy the beauty that the northwoods offers.
