Downtown condo designed by one of the top designer and furniture store owners in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. This 2 BR/2 BA fully equipped home is the top of the top. You walk out your front door and cross the street and you are at the beautiful Yampa River. You can fly fish anytime, you can tube down the river in the summer, and you can raft it as well. Right past the river is Howelson Hill where the Winter Olympians train (and did very well this year winning gold, silver, and bronze). You can actually eat at the table and watch them long jump from the top to the bottom. When they land you see them. It is also a ski mountain open to public with night skiing and tube riding. In the summer it turns into a LUGE called the Alpine Slide which you ride down after the lift carries you up. You can also take the lift up, walk to the top of the ski jump, eat a picnic lunch, and see over the entire city and mountains, very fun!!!

We are in walking distance of all the top restaurant, bars, nightlife, and SHOPPING! Right outside our door is the bus that is free and takes you on a 5-10 minute ride to the main mountain to ski and to the Supermarkets/Wal-Mart and other areas all over the city. We have parking and usually no needs to move it because we are so centrally located.

Holly & I as friends and business partners bought this condo years ago because the skiing in Steamboat is some of the best in Colorado. The condo is in a perfect location, overlooking a beautiful mountain, across the street from the Yampa river, and yet is just around the block from all of the entertainment of downtown Steamboat. The best of both worlds! Holly is a top designer in Steamboat and the condo shows it with all the amenities and decor!

Great condo with perfect location!

This condo was a perfect location for us with two older boys. We could all come and go as we pleased! The condo itself is loaded with whatever you need. It was nice to have coolers and ice packs, screw drivers , glue, light bulbs ,wonderful large washer/dryers, etc. Also, very handy to have extra towels, pillows and sheets for pull out sofa. We had a great time and thank you!!

We couldn't have been more pleased with the location, as we enjoy the activities/restaurants that surround this darling condo. The condo itself was extremely clean and well appointed with all items we could have needed to enjoy our stay. Thank you Holly for such a fabulous time in town!

My wife, our son, grandson and I stayed here for two nights for a getaway from the heat of the plains. My wife and I have been to Steamboat before but have not stayed in anyplace as nice as this. The condo is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. The best part was that we never moved our car from the time we arrived until we left. Virtually everything is in walking distance including the entire downtown area, the rodeo grounds, alpine slide, gondola and ice arena. If you are going to be in Steamboat Springs, you absolutely cannot find a better place to stay.

Access issues a huge bummer

This is a lovely unit in a great location. Unfortunately it took us 3 hours to get into the unit. All of the access information we received was wrong, and the contact phone number for the owner was disconnected. We sent several messages to the owner who never responded. Finally we called customer support and after another hour we received a call from the owner with the access code. We spent top dollar for two nights, and we weren't able to get into the unit until after 7 pm, we almost missed our dinner reservation, and the start of our visit was extremely stressful and included attempting to find another backup place to stay on short notice. For the amount of money we spent, we expected things to be much more professional. It was a horrible experience that had me in tears for the first day of our visit.

Owner's Response: I would have hoped to visit with this client before she left this review as we have worked very hard for 8 years to maintain our ratings and standards. In the 8 year period we have owned and operated our condo we have had only two instances, just recently, where people did not opt to down load the "hospitality" information that is the complete access guide for the condo and offered and recommended upon execution of first deposit. The client actually states in her correspondence to us that "the homeaway APP is just too much brain damage for her." This APP expresses the info available to download private codes and info pertinent to the home. It has door code, address, check in/out times, and so much more offered for visitors. My condo has been managed and cleaned by a top dependable woman for years and in the last month she moved to another state and that very week for this stay we had hired a brand new property management company. From reviews you can see that I am always available, however, I was out of the country working and had a couple weeks where my personal cell was not working due to the porting wait process. The client did reach someone else whose number is on our VRBO information for numbers to call and she reached me immediately. I called the client and gave her the code. I am sincerely sorry for the few hour delay she experienced on getting in the unit and hopefully she enjoyed the rest of her trip. Again, we work so hard to maintain our standards and reviews so I hope anyone reading this understands this was a one time change of the guards, so to speak, and can read other reviews and clearly see this does not happen and feel secure about their stay with us.

Amazing location!

If you love to be around all the restaurants, bars & shops, this is the place for you. It was beautifully decorated and the rooms are spacious ( I love the master bathroom). Sunpies, across the street, is a cool little bar with a awesome view of the river. We went with another couple and we were totally comfortable. It would be cozy with kids as well. I would definitely stay here again if and when we come back.
