Our mountain home has fabulous views of the Canyons ski runs from the upper deck. The lower deck off the master suite has a new private hot tub in which to soak after a strenuous day of skiing. You can relax with a cocktail and watch the skiers come down the slopes. You can also feed the ducks that come up to the deck from the nearby pond.
This area is extremely quiet and serene--a nature lover's paradise, but it is still conveniently located to the ski slope. Walk downhill one block to the free bucket lift that whisks you to the base of the Canyons ski area or catch the free shuttle bus right next to your parking area. If it's a good snow year, you will be able to ski back to the condo from a trail just below the ski patrol hut . And, of course, you know by now that Canyons and Park City are linked via ski lifts. Super convenient, and super-sized!

Why Diana Herz chose Park City
We love Park City! This is a perfect get-away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Skiing at Canyons and Deer Valley is amazing and Park City in the summer is beautiful. The location of our condo is perfect for a quiet vacation yet we are close to all the action of Old Town, the beautiful mountains for hiking or any other outdoor sport. Also, we like the people of Park City, very laid-back and friendly. A small town atmosphere.
What makes this Condo unique
The benefits of our condo is all the open space surrounding it. Lots of grass and scenery with the pond and the mountains at our doorstep. Now there is a first class golf course surrounding the condo for those of us who love the sport.

Great time in utah
Only issue was Diane said i could get a discount of $250 for a 7day rental but at time of booking only gave a $200 discount.
I wish you had told me as soon as you got the quote, I would have fixed it. However, I don’t recall giving you a discount of $250. as I usually only discount $200. I’m sorry you felt that that problem gave me only a 3 star rating since you say that was the only problem.
Great place. A short walk to the cabriolet in the morning (10 mins max) and since there was a decent snowfall on the day we arrived, we were able to ski back pretty much all the way to the entrance. Inside well equipped and a right size for our family of 4. Hot tub was a perfect relaxation place after the whole day of skiing. The owner has been very responsive. Planning to come back.
100% as described. Very well appointed. Hot tub nice and always at perfect temp.
Walk down to bucket lift which then goes up to deposit you right at base in Canyons, steps from gondola and bubble lift. There are lockers for shoe storage at Canyon base if you prefer to not walk in ski boots. Serenity Spa at Westgate is 5 min walk and very nice.
Thanks, Cheryl for the nice review. I’m so glad you felt comfortable in my vacation home :)
Very nice property, good location, owner very responsive
So, the other reviews and the description say most everything. It's a very nice property. Beds are comfy - 2 bedrooms downstairs, plus full bath (Jack/Jill type master bathroom). Pull out couch on a landing, and then two singles in a loft. The loft is a little small, so if its just for sleeping, it'll work out. But, with clothes, suitcases, and such, having a full 8 people may stretch you if you're not all real friendly and on the same page. But, family of 5, with 3 teen to 20-something boys, it was comfortable and everyone fit fine.
Kitchen is well set - maybe a couple extra soup bowls, but it has everything you could possibly need, including all needed appliances. Grill on top deck, new hut tub on bottom deck, and a gas fireplace is everything you need.
Storing snowboards and skis and boots? No problem.. front entry and bench has plenty of space for 4-5 adults to de-boot and store their gear at the same time. Skis and boards fit behind the bench fine. There are pegs, but with newer skis, they don't fit - but again, not a problem, since storage behind the bench worked perfectly and we used the pegs for helmets, gloves, scarves and such. Separate coat rack by door, and you're good.
Location.. so, ski in/out if there is snow, yes. (Not the property's problem... but just so happened there was minimal snow cover this Christmas 2017.. but we still were able to ski/board home almost the whole way). The Cabriolet lift was an easy walk.. but it was a walk - depending on you, you might find it not a problem, or it may get to you. 7-11 right next to the lift had most basics. The bus was easy to get to the Fresh Market for food shopping, plus to Main Street.
Canyons definitely was the preferred mountain for both skiers and boarders.. we only spent half a day at Park City before taking the gondola back to Canyons. For being Christmas week, and also only 1/5 or less of the trails being opened (again, not the property's problem), it was not crowded. But, just to give a flavor of location. Easy to get to the Junction or to Main Street. Canyon's village has a few good places.. Umbrella Bar being the favorite.
House wifi was good. Everything worked without a problem. IF I had anything on the minus side - since the thermostat is upstairs, downstairs in the bedrooms can get a bit cold, especially if you have the fireplace on. But not bad, and the only criticism I'd give.
Definitely one of the top properties we've rented for skiing.
Thanks for the great review, Richard! Yes, the snow this year wasn’t the best, but I’m glad you were comfortable in my condo. :) You pretty much said it all!
See you next year!
Great location, very clean and all the kitchen gear we needed.
Met our expectations from the pictures provided and descriptions given. The owner was very responsive and provided the right amount of detail for our arrival. Great location to all the area mountains. The family skied Canyons, Park City, Deer Valley, Alta & Snow Basin! Would definitely return. Thank you for a no fuss week!
Clean, comfortable, fully equipped condo. Right on free shuttle route and short walk to Cabriolet.
Owner was responsive & very helpful in planning our stay! Family of 4 - loved our stay. Friends stayed out of town and stored their skis at the condo at the end of each day. Loved the Canyons resort! Great vacation!!!
I'm so glad that you had a great ski vacation with your family and friends! Hope to hear from you next year! Diana
