My cozy Salt Lake City condo is my trendy, fun, home-away-from-home. I hope it can be yours too.
When I travel, I want all the amenities of home. I’m a suburban girl with urban tastes, so I like to have easy access to the airport, easy access to downtown and a short drive to the best skiing in the world.
This condo is conveniently nestled just 8 short minutes from the airport and just 2 miles from all the downtown activities. You can get settled in, right after arriving in town. Additionally, you will have gated parking for your vehicle and one dedicated space per unit. When you enter into the condo, you’ll feel right at home.
I’ve owned in this complex since 2007, serve on the board and know my neighbors well (and they know me!). I occupy the condo just upstairs from this unit so I am attuned to what’s going on not only with my guests, but also within the complex. You’ll find me out and about quite a bit, so I won’t hesitate to say hello if I see you in the parking lot or coming to/from the condo. You can feel comfortable knowing you'll have a friend (me) close by to help out and lend you a hand it you need it.
Newly updated, this unit has beautiful hardwood laminate floors, stunning granite counters and new kitchen cabinetry. The master bedroom has a comfortable Queen bed and a full size bed in the 2nd bedroom. In addition, there is a sofa sleeper in the living room that opens to a TwinX bed, which will fit one adult up to 5'6". Linens are included for all the beds and I provide towels for up to 4 people. We're also baby friendly! with a Pack 'n Play and high chair available to you, should you require them, if traveling with little ones.
I've opted to install efficient portable heaters to ensure my guests’ varied comfort in the winter. Over the years, I found the baseboards too difficult to regulate and opted to go with the portable heaters. In addition, as I love circulating air, I have installed beautiful, quiet 52" ceiling fans in the bedrooms and the dining area to keep air cool or warm air flowing nicely throughout the unit, in the winter, summer, spring or fall.
This condo includes an in-home washer and dryer, a fully stocked kitchen featuring a black electric range, dishwasher and refrigerator! Coffee maker, teapot, toaster, microwave oven and everything you need to cook and serve your delicious meals. Tupperware is also available for your use to pack leftovers in if you are on the run.
Enjoy having your privacy with all the amenities you need, without the high price of boring, expensive hotels. Definitely better priced than a hotel suite, with far more to offer! My dedicated cleaning lady keeps my condos very clean with professional pride.
Minutes to downtown Salt Lake City, this is an ideal location. Not "IN" downtown but just a short 2 mile drive, you’ll have access to the best dining Salt Lake City offers, great museums, grocery stores and shopping at the City Creek Center. Oh! and a Trader Joe's is just a few miles right up the road. YAY!
If you are here for business, you are just 2.33 miles/8 minutes from the Salt Palace Convention Center and have quick access to the I-80, I-215 and I-15 freeways. If you aren't interested in renting a car, no worries. A 10 min taxi from the airport, and you can catch the 516 bus around the corner and it takes you just a block from the Salt Palace or other convenient, downtown locations. Maps of the bus route and local ski areas are available in my directories located in the unit.
Whether it be for a sporting event, business meetings, a conference, LDS activites or Temple, these affordable condos are just a quick 10 minutes from all the downtown activities. For skiers looking to save some money, it’s just a 20 minute drive to the best snow on earth at Snowbird & Alta, Brighton & Solitude. Or for more winter action, just a 30 minute drive to Park City, Deer Valley & the Canyons. Snow Basin and Powder Mountain are just up the I-15 too (see my Ogden rental for these ski areas). Summertime brings great hiking, biking, fishing or day trips to Utah’s world-famous canyons.

Why Lisa MacDonald chose Poplar Grove
The location of this unit is close to the airport and easy access to the i-80 freeway. I personally love that literally in 8 minutes (I've timed it) I am from the rental lot to my condo parking space. I love that I walk in and everything I need is there. All I need to do is turn on my laptop and I'm ready to get online with WIFI, turn on the TV to watch my favorite shows on HBO or pop in a DVD. The condo is so close to great restaurants, the LDS Temple, Children's Museum, theaters, the Gateway, City Creek and then, it's just 20 minutes from Snowbird! I love this condo so much, I decided to get another one and live in it so I can rent this one out to traveler’s like you. I’m now close to my guests, providing convenient access, while enjoying the location for myself!
What makes this Condo unique
The best benefit is the location. Some may prefer the sleepy suburbs, but you won’t have the easy and quick access to downtown or the airport. Some prefer up by the University, and hey…no problem if you want to deal with student traffic, the VA hospital and plethora of businesses conjoining in that area. My neighborhood isn’t in the quiet suburbs. It’s 2 miles from the city center; away from the congestion in a residential neighborhood, but you'll have close access to where you want to go. It's a diverse, safe and family-oriented neighborhood that I've been a part of for 10 years. I personally love it and will do my best to make you feel like my place is your home away from home.

Convenient & Comfortable
We stayed at this condo to attend a conference at the Salt Palace. Very conveniently located to downtown and having parking included in the price was a real plus. Beds were comfortable and the condo was very clean. We had everything we needed during our stay. The airport is close by so it was easy to get here and catch our early morning flight. A great location for our needs. We definitely plan to stay here again for next year's conference and would highly recommend to others.

We will definitely stay there again on our next trip back to Salt Lake.
Great little find
This condo was a perfect fit for our family. We flew in and like she said, got to the condo in no time. Close to downtown where we needed to be for a wedding. Highly recommend. Lisa is a great host and made us feel right at home.
Exactly what we expected.
Better than a hotel room. Cute decor. Small for a condo but she points that out multiple times and does a great job with furnishings to make it cozy and not feel small. Close to many things. Not the best or worst neighborhood
This condo is a corner unit in a medium sized condominium complex. The grounds are kept nicely and with a car, you are just minutes from anything you need; grocery, gas, restaurants, convention center or downtown events. Just 5 miles/8 min from the SLC Airport and 3 minutes to downtown SLC. It's a great location to get in and out of the city or be near downtown, if you spend your time there.

2 night regular non-refundable cancellation fee plus tax and any initial booking fees charged with your reservation or reschedule for a future date without penalty. No refunds if plans cancel within 30 days of check in or during holidays. No refunds for early departure. Where arranged deposits are made, if balance due is not paid within due date, your reservation is subjected to be forfeited. Rental Contract is available upon request.
