Kiahuna Beach House #2 is a true 'beachfront' property. One of Hawaii's most beautiful white sand beaches is just a few steps from the lanai. The beach house is tastefully furnished and has all modern appliances including a washer/dryer. The ceiling is vaulted, thereby adding to a feeling of spaciousness that is not found in other Kiahuna properties. The beachhouse is best suited for two people. You will have the convenience of loading and unloading luggage and groceries just a few steps from the front door of your beach house. Then, park your car 30-40 steps away.

Because the property is so popular with return guests, it enjoys a very high rate of occupancy. Reservations should be made well in advance of your intended trip.

This is one of the best located and appointed properties in the Poipu Beach area. Beachhouse #2 is offered for rent at a premium price.

You can drive your car to a location near your beachhouse with no parking fees. You do not have to go to an expensive restaurant for every meal. You are steps away from the best swimming beach on the South Shore. Each of our properties is furnished according to the tastes of individual property owners. Since many guests will use the property over the course of a year, it is difficult to keep every beachhouse up to snuff in terms of basic supplies. Guests can call the front desk to have maintenance replace a broken or missing item, e.g. light bulbs. Some replacement items, e.g. coffee filters or flashlight batteries, can be purchased at a local market. We will refund the cost of any replacement items if you send us a copy of your receipt. Just returned and have to say it was one of my best experiences from Trish with the local California management office that handles this unit, the owner, the onsite staff, to the unit that was updated and in fantastic shape it doesn't get any better for me! This unit like the previous review says has the peacefulness, the view, and practically smack down on the beach. This unit also is one of three units in a one story building and the people on each side of us were fantastic. I have been to Kiahuna several times in the past, but this time as I am a bit older just went with my girlfriend and it was fantastic. The beach is literally 15-20 feet out the sliding door, so in the morning we grab our stuff which the unit has a number of beach supplies and just toss them onto our spot on the beach and stay on the beach from 9-3 almost everyday, since that's what we enjoy doing. There is a small hedge in between the unit and the beach so you have to walk down to a pathway thru the shrub then back track to where we set up camp. I cant say enough about this place obviously as you can see. On a personal note I would like to think the owner "which I know is not standard" allowed us to have a late checkout since no one was coming in the day after us and we had an 11:30pm flight. That generosity was a huge bonus to us so Thanks Again for that! Trish at our local California management office was upfront, honest and responsive since we did this pretty much last minute so Thanks a Bunch to her too.

The only thing I would suggest is get one more beach chair to match the existing one, since theres only one. We rented an additional one across the street for the week.

Incredible Poipu Beachfront

Our family has been returning to the Southshore of Kauai, Poipu specifially for 15 years. We have stayed in a number of Kiahuna condominiums over that stretch but instantly fell in love with #2. The two best attributes are the privacy and proximity to one of, if not, the best views in Kauai. Whether it is watching migrating whales in December, or gorgeous sunsets in May, this unit has it all. Very tastefully upgrades throughout make this unit extremely attractive extended stays.

We have had an issue renting this unit in the past as it does fill up quickly.
