This is a great family cabin, located on Hwy 24, 'The Fishing Highway' on Lac Des Roches (the big lake) with a large variety of things to do.
Being a log cabin it stays cozy warm in the winter and stays cool during the hot days of summer.
Clear water, the bottom is silty in bay and water is shallow. For swimming, there are floaty toys, a canoe & rowboat to access the swimming platform dock in clear, deeper water.
Great yard for lawn games, such as Bocce Ball and horse shoes. Both are provided.
Canoe and rowboat available to explore the 12km long lake as well as a channel can be navigated to Little Lac Des Roches.

We were very pleased to find everything plus more at this lovely cabin. We are "foodies" and were excited when we found a waffle maker supplied.
The owner was very easy to deal with and helped us with a lot of information.
The peaceful area was a relaxing, comfortable place to hang out. We just wish we didn't have to leave.
The hiking trails across the road were excellent to bring our dog for daily walks.
We will definitely be back in the summer time.
When we arrived we were pleased with the lake and the property that the cabin was situated on. Upon entering the cabin we again were pleased with the kitchen and living room. However there is a reason that no pics of the bedrooms are shown on this site. The bedrooms were a huge disappointment, visually and lacking in cleanliness . The bedding was covered in dog and human hair, the bottom sheet was stained with what looked like blood, the pillows were the size of tiny throw pillows, the quilts had obviously not been washed in a long time, again covered in hair and musty smelling. The mattress was old and definitely needed to be replaced. We washed the quilts and sheets before we could sleep that night. This cabin could be lovely if the bedrooms were brought up to standard, with crisp clean sheets, quilts and new mattress and professionally finished to match the rest of the cabin.
We spent a week at this gem of a cabin. For the first time, we did not feel like getting out and exploring. Everything was right here on the beautiful acreage. The cabin itself is just wonderful- cozy, comfortable and well-outfitted, right down to the waffle maker. We swam, canoed, enjoyed the nature and each others company here. (note: let your dogs swim at the boat launch next to the property, it is perfect). Loved it!
It is hard to explain perfection which is how we feel about the cozy log house and the serene surroundings . We spent a Christmas there and it was just gorgeous and cozy . In the summer we enjoyed sitting outside by the camp fire evenings and just sitting on the deck . To put it simply we just loved it
Our stay at this comfortable, homey cabin was perfect for rejuvenating. It has modern conveniences combined with old time, log cabin charm. We loved the setting, on beautiful acreage, with an gorgeous view, and felt right at home there. There is lots to do for nature lovers like us. This cabin is definitely a place we will return to again and again.
The cabin is private and generally quiet depending on neighbours, weekdays were very peaceful, even in summer. Great view of the lake, missing it very much. Lots of interesting birdlife to watch and we enjoyed the rowboat and floaties provided. Not great for swimming unless you row/float out to the swimming dock and jump in, went to Emerald Bay on Green Lake for swimming. We lucked out with great weather, many clear starry nights, not as hot either compared to other nearby lakes. The log cabin stays cool all day. Had all the kitchen things you need. Owners informative and easy to book with. Large property, great for a family. Lots of fun stuff to do and see nearby. Stores at Bridge and Sheridan Lakes (awesome ice cream at Sheridan Lake Store!) carry basic foodstuffs, beer and liquor, the Esso on Hwy 24 has the rest of what you might have forgotten, or go in to 100 Mile. Great spot, would be good for winter as well. The only bad thing was that we had to go home!
Our cabin is located on the 'big lake'. Not to be mistaken for Little Lac Des Roches.
