If you are looking for privacy, a spectacular view, and luxurious comfort, your search is over. 47 Cape Creek is deeply secluded in Middle Island's maritime forest, yet just a five-minute cart ride from East Beach and the Shoals Club. You will never want to leave our 50-foot ipe deck with its high overlook of the marsh and creek. Our 3200-square-foot, professionally decorated home features a huge, fully stocked chef's kitchen, elevator and THREE golf carts, including one six-person stretch.

Watch movies on the 50-inch 1080p flat screen TV while relaxing on the Natuzzi leather sectional. The four master bedrooms, all with attached full baths, including the enormous king bedroom on the main floor, have plush mattresses, high-thread-count, 100%-cotton sheets and thick, 100%-cotton towels. On the entry level is a bunk room with an attached half bath. An outdoor shower, screened porch, and WiFi complete the amenities.

Both Shoals Club and BHI Club (with golfing privileges) temporary memberships available for purchase through us, but are not included as part of the rental fee.

Stays including holidays, namely Easter, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years, have a four-day minimum.

About Maggie Glezer

We love to tour and travel around the world, but also need to unwind. Bald Head Island is our special place to totally relax. We always bring tons of books to read, and love to cook together, share afternoon tea, watch the sun slowly sinking, and watch family movies at night. There is beauty on the island everywhere you turn, it never fails to take our breath away.

Bald Head Island is a very unique place, where nature has been respected and preserved. This house was built by Charlie Young, the developer of Middle Island, for his own use. Sitting on a high bluff with wide view of Cape Creek and the Maritime Forest Preserve, this house was built with a good knowledge of island living. The deck is unbeatable, and is cooled all summer by the prevailing wind. The house is extremely spacious and comfortable, perfect for a larger group, two families, or anyone who wants total privacy and convenience.

What makes this house unique

If you love seclusion--not seeing or hearing any neighbors at all, yet want to be just minutes away from East Beach and the grocery store, this is your house. The house has so many wonderful attributes: our view is spectacular; the kitchen is huge and so well set up; we have put the best mattresses and linens on all the beds, the list goes on and on. You will not be able to decide where to best idle away your time, whether on the screened porch, on the deck, or in the living room. We are really excited to be renting the house ourselves, and want to pamper our renters with the best of BHI living.

Three golf carts come with the property, a six seater and two four seaters. We now have two screened porches, one off the kitchen, one off the back deck, the later with a queen-sized daybed. We have boogie boards, over 14 beach chairs and beach towels, 4 adult beach bikes and 2 kids bikes. Also we offer golf with temporary membership to BHI Club. Please note that our fireplace is not operational.

Beautiful, well kept.

We had a lovely stay over Thanksgiving this past year, 2017. The Maggie was so kind and personable. She was very easy to work with throughout the entire process. The house was immaculate, and we felt like we were staying in a tree house overlooking the marsh. The views were gorgeous. The beds were comfortable, and I brought too many kitchen supplies. They have a very well stocked kitchen. You never know with rentals, but we lacked for nothing. Thank you for a wonderful trip. We made many happy memories, and would not hesitate to return to your lovely home. I miss it already!

Amazing house in beautiful natural setting

This house is just amazing! We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the constant contact with Maggie to make sure everything was perfect. The house itself was roomy and beautiful, with an excellent selection of books, puzzles, games, and excellent views of the salt marsh. We looked for quite a while before finding this gem for my traveling group of 4, one of which is unable to climb stairs due to limited mobility, plus a dog. This pet friendly house was absolutely perfect with an elevator and 3 golf carts. Access to the private beach and private floating dock was also a great benefit. This Island has so much wildlife to see (during our stay, we saw deer, alligators, fish, turtles, crabs and shrimp in the salt marsh to name a few) and the natural scenery was such a great experience for us and our visitors who are from the west coast. We stayed for 4 nights but could easily have stayed 4 more. I highly recommend this property and we will most definitely be back!

Perfect Peaceful Paradise

Our family has rented houses along most every NC and SC beach for 30 years and our BHI experience is our favorite to date. The island terrain is so diverse with the wide sandy beaches to the lush vegetation and wet lands. The ecosystem is vibrant and alive with abundant wildlife sightings, including an impromptu dolphin "show" in the marina as we ate dinner on the veranda at MoJo's. This house was perfect for our extended family. All the rooms are large and there are lots of different seating areas to enjoy. What a pleasure to have the beds already made with quality sheets and the bathrooms stocked with thick, white towels. Along with the essentials, Maggie provided Eco hair products and soaps! Her generosity continued with a Market Gift Card in her welcome letter. Large beach towels, sand toys and beach chairs were plentiful and all in great condition. Three golf carts were necessary to carry our crew and when one was found with a flat tire, Maggie quickly arranged for the fix causing no interruption in our needs. The view from the deck is priceless and the bucks walking on the property each morning were quite the show. We enjoyed the large farm table to seat our crew and to play our games. The kitchen island is over-sized and perfect for our buffet line. It was so nice to have so many glasses, utensils and such. The pantry is well stocked and for your use. Maggie has made sure you feel at home and it shows. More importantly, communication with her was incredible. It was like she was our personal concierge. With our vacation dates sandwiched between 2 hurricanes, Maggie was in constant communication with us and bent over backwards to get us in to the house on time. We will definitely be returning to Cape Creek Road and to the magic of the untouched Middle Island on BHI. Thank you Maggie and Ari!

Serene house with stunning views

Maggie was a pleasure to work with and our family truly loved the home. This was our third year at BHI and we feel very fortunate to have found this home. The home is clean, well kept, well stocked, and has an excellent selection of bikes, chairs, movies, games and puzzles. The views of the marsh from the back deck were a wonderful treat and the photos cannot do it justice. We look forward to returning soon!

After 7 years in Cape Fear Station we branched out. And are thrilled that we did. We range in age from 4 to 71 and all agree that this was our favorite house and setting. We fished from the dock, we swam, we surfed and boogie boarded, we biked, we walked, we Turtle Trotted and we relaxed. At days end we grilled and ate on the big porch, watching the birds alight on the marsh. Maggie was great, always responsive and pleasant and we appreciated all the thoughtful amenities she provided for our comfort and family fun.
