Beautiful place, highly recommend it.

This place is beautiful and exactly as described. The pictures really do not do it justice. We are a family of 6 and we had plenty of space to spread out. It is very secluded which we loved. The area around the cabin is amazing. The hot tub was a favorite of our family. The cell service is very limited but the internet was great. I appreciated the review I read that said to get groceries in Woodland park. That's what we did and it was the best place. Think ahead and make sure you have what you might need because as I said it is secluded. The grill gave us a little issue but my husband figured it out and wasn't a big deal. We loved this place and highly recommend it!

Awesome stay

  • 5 of 5

Awesome vacation stay at this nice vacation home at the end of the street with expansive 180-degree views, which made for excellent viewing of a lightning storm during our stay. Quiet, cozy home with a separate level for all. Saw deer on the drive back to the house everyday and frequent visits from hummingbirds partaking of the feeder just off the deck. Wonderful to feel like you're one with nature and away from it all - if only for one week. Thank you for offering such a wonderful home; we hope we can visit again in the future.

Beautiful home, beautiful view, beautiful isolation!!

  • 5 of 5

As close to heaven as you can get!, My daughter and I spent 5 days and found it just as billed. On a clear day (barring a day in a cloud or nearby forest fire) you can see the 14teeners peaking over the horizon. There is very little the owners/property managers haven't anticipated (hiking stick, first aid kit, crock pot, sunscreen etc) . The kitchen has plenty of everything (except the illusive pizza cutter 😋?). My daughter was recovering from surgery, so this was more of a not doing vakay rather than doing. 11 mile canyon is spectacular! As other reviews indicate...BE PREPARED...PLAN AHEAD and BE COMFORTABLE WITH "PRIVACY". It is well over 30 min to divide or Florissant. Cell phones (ATT) have minimal coverage but there is a house phone and the Internet was superb. Tvs are on the upper and lower levels but we spent most of our time on the entry level so didn't use the cable much. Nor the hot tub😳? Sooo many nooks and crannies to read n relax. Lots of room for families to spread out. Get groceries in Woodland Park. The property allows lots of room to roam. Would have stayed forever but forced eviction is so unpleasant 😉?

We had a fantastic time.

  • 5 of 5

The person that picked this location to build on found a real gem. The views and the quiet will bring us back someday. We enjoyed looking through the photo book that chronicled the building of this cabin. It gave us an appreciation of the process required to have a getaway like this. We were in a fabulous location to visit the wolf sanctuary and explore the small surrounding towns. We could not get the house phone to work and the hot tub was a little more worn than we usually encounter in a home like this, but those two things aside this is a stay that should not be missed. If you are looking for a place to completely unplug this is it.

Spectacular views!

We had a great overall experience at this beautiful cabin.

The only issue we had was no wildlife at all around the cabin! We had high expectations bc the site said the deer were 'too friendly'. This was a personal expectation & one the owners have no control over however we REALLY wanted to be around wildlife.
