About the property

House, 3 Bedrooms with landscaped fenced yard

Our house in Crested Butte has been thoughtfully furnished so that it is a home away from home. Located one short block from both Elk Avenue (Crested Butte's historic downtown) and the mountain shuttle, this house is ideally situated for you to explore and enjoy everything Crested Butte has to offer.

There are three bedrooms each with luxurious linens and down comforters. The queen beds are topped with memory foam. The bunk room has two beds, one which trundles and can accommodate three people. On the second floor, there is a great soaking tub that looks out on the mountains, an ideal place to unwind after a long day on the mountain.

The living area has everything that we love to do when we are in Crested Butte: well stocked kitchen with gourmet tools (Wusthoff Knives, Emeril Cookware, and Kitchenaid Coffee Maker), dining table with a bench to accommodate delicious group meals, games galore, and in the living room a comfy couch with a 40' TV with surround sound and iPod doc.

We have just added a Weber grill outside and deck furniture for the summer. It's a great place to unwind and enjoy!

There are also two off-street parking spots for your convenience.

About Lynn

We visited and fell in love with Crested Butte when we moved to Colorado a few years ago. We have 3 young children and love to get out and explore. You will often find us on skis, sleds or bikes!

Lynn purchased this house in 2010

Why Lynn chose Crested Butte Area

Crested Butte has everything that we want in a mountain town; charming downtown, great hiking and biking trails and a fantastic mountain. Plus, we park our car once we arrive and never use it again. Crested Butte also benefits from stunning surroundings whether the snow covered peaks in the winter or the gorgeous wild flowers in the summer.

What makes this house unique

There is also something fun going on in town. We have been in Crested Butte for New Year's, Fourth of July, the Music Festival, the Wildflower Festival, the Rubber Duck race and the Arts Festival, and have only just scratched the surface. It's a fun place, with laid-back people and a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Spring Break 2016

  • 4 of 5

Great spot. Great house. Would definitely stay here again. One block from downtown and town shuttle stop. All the beds were good and the kitchen was fully stocked with things needed to make almost any meal. Property management was great and we were able to flex our checkout time!

Only thing that could be improved is the hot water tank. Two adults could barely take showers without running out of hot water. Still, with a little planning this was only a minor problem.

Crested Butte Wedding

  • 4 of 5

We LOVED staying at this cute house right in town. The location was great, we rode our bikes everywhere. The house was equipped with anything we needed. The only issue was one of the upstairs and the downstairs bedrooms needed fans. It was hot in those rooms at night. Other than that it was wonderful! We will rent this house again.

Cozy family home in the heart of Crested Butte

  • 5 of 5

My family and I have stayed here for the past two years. The location can't be beat - just a hop from Camp 4 and Mountain Earth and only a short walk to the 4 way, Nordic Center and Clark's. The house easily accommodated our 3 kids and a friend who traveled with us. The kids enjoyed playing outside in the snow and walking to various places in town. The house is pet-friendly, too. Enjoy a comfy soak in the antique tub looking out at the Bench after a long day of skiing or snow-shoeing.

Perfect in-town rental

  • 5 of 5

My family spent July 4th, 2014 in this darling, clean, well-maintained, house. We loved the location one block off Elk Ave, but still quiet. We had plenty of parking, an important amenity in this busy town. The indoor spaces were comfortable and the front and back porches (with private, beautifully landscaped back yard), allowed us to relax and have meals outside in the mornings and evenings. The two upstairs queen bedrooms each had private, small bathrooms with showers and shared a quaint, romantic tub room with candles. We will rent this home again.

Summer on Sopris

  • 5 of 5

We rented this home for over a month in the summer of 2012. We have two young children. The house is wonderful -- particularly for families with younger ones [ie., can easily replace anything young hands might get before you can catch the young hands). Lots of Pottery Barn and Garnet Hill products. The property was well-maintained and the linens were very nice. Beds comfy. The property manager was always accessible. The location cannot be beat -- directly across the street from the church, camp 4 coffee; one block from Elk; 3 blocks from Alpenglow Park and the Farmer's Market. The bus stop is behind the house, one block. We rarely drove our car -- stuck to bikes and buses. The backyard is fully fenced and is a great place for kids/pets to play. The grill was a nice and super easy to work. I would describe the property as having 3 bathrooms (2 upstairs and 1 downstairs). Easy parking. Great neighbors, all local. We simply had a blast and look forward to summer 2013!
