We enjoyed our stay in the submarine unit. The deck and hot tub have wonderful views. We saw whales every morning of our stay.
The bathroom is across the living room from each bedroom ... blinds would be helpful in the front living room windows as the LR curtains are attractive, but a little see through for my comfort.
Don't let the 90 steps scare you away from this property, they are not bad.
Submarine was awesome!
Great property with incredible ocean views. Thank you for an incredible time!
The house was perfect! It was perfect size for me and my 3 friends. It had a hot tub that we were able to enjoy, along with an outstanding view of the ocean! We are so glad we found this place.
Excellent Beach House
Awesome view and wonderfully maintained property, as expected. Would come again.
We will be back
The Submarine was everything we hoped and more! Gorgeous views with excellent tide pools at low tide, mostly private beach, an excellent hot tub and quiet neighborhood. We saw whales spouting from the hot tub each morning and evening and spent hours looking at starfish, crabs and anemones in the tide pools. We will definitely come back. The caretakers and management were very helpful and informative!
Great house, but missing some kitchen basics
The house is very nice and has an incredible view, but the lack of a few basic kitchen things earns them only four stars from me. Missing: hot pan holders, small pots, and only one medium sized pot. No tupperware, foil, or plastic wrap to keep things fresh. Only one "cereal sized" bowl. Half of the broiler pan was missing. Need a full set of measuring spoons. There were three ½ teaspoons and one ¼ teaspoon, but nothing else. There was a nice supply of spices and seasonings, but It would have been nice to have sugar, creamer and cooking oil.
Submarine sits overlooking the famous "Nelscott Wave". World class surfing competition held every year. It's known as the only place on the Oregon Coast with the right conditions for big -wave surfing. Named for the former community of Nelscott, which is now part of Lincoln City. Submarine looks directly out to the Nelscott Reef.
